Today on Strelovec, weather good. My wife and I wanted to conquer the Krofička summit, but conditions without full gear, crampons and ice axe unfortunately don't allow it yet, so we turned back instead, otherwise super day.

Since I had to turn back before when I wanted to "conquer" Strelovec in winter , today I was pleasantly surprised, as usually an avalanche or huge amounts of snow past Klemenča cave stopped me, so I didn't know where to go... but today it was all different, hehe. Start at Dom planincev and to the Strelovec-Krofička junction went well, then the shady side and snow does its thing, marks hide, path becomes unknown, though I've been here often. Company today was special four-legged guide Benča from the pension at Razpotje, who loves hills, even 3x sometimes at Okrešelj. On the summit we sunned ourselves, it was really hot, views wonderful. Back via Icmanikova and Plesnikova planina, in between a quick stop at the viewpoint Logarska peč. Despite all the tricks of Strelovec today, as I went a bit my own way a few times, I made it to the valley. Conditions completely different, from wet, dry, hard snow that sometimes held my weight, sometimes I sank to the bottom, lower down mud.
It was a very nice and very warm day .

Rozka, I plan to do the mentioned hike tomorrow but I'm wondering if you needed crampons or snowshoes on the path. Thanks!

Rozka thanks for the reply. We went without gear and it turned out to be a mistake. Expected your tracks but almost none there, like they melted yesterday daytime and froze overnight. When we reached the junction we crossed the first gully but then kicking into the iced snow seemed too risky and we turned back. Still a wonderful hike with great views and super weather.

I've gone to Strelovec from several directions already, but the path from Solčava was still left for me.
It looks like there's not much traffic on this path.
If there's no one at Zg. Icmank to ask for the way, you can get lost quite quickly, as there are no signs at two key spots.
Friendly residents gave us the right "coordinates".
Later the path is well marked.
Dry leaves are a real slide on the descent as it's quite steep.
Otherwise a great day, on top just right for martinčkanje. On the return again nice chat at the Zg. Icmank farm.

Today I did a nice circular route Klemenča jama-Strelovec-Logarska peč-Icmankova planina and back to Logarska dolina. The nice trip was a bit spoiled by the loss of sports glasses with removable lenses . I searched for them unsuccessfully alone (walked the Strelovec-Logarska peč path twice). If someone has more luck than me and finds them, please leave them with the caretaker of Dom planincev in Logarska dolina. For a reward, of course!

Yesterday morning we did a family trip to Strelovec. The daughter walked with enthusiasm, peace and silence accompanied us. Up there a phenomenal view. When returning and seeing the Knez homestead ahead, heat blew into us: we were sorry that we were already back.

I thought Strelovec was more isolated, but now I see it is not so. I left the car at the first gravel bend. Then gravel for one and a half hours. You can also get there by car below Icmankova planina. From here up in one hour. The planina is a bit isolated. The path to the top is pleasant. The summit is really very panoramic. It has a brand new summit book. On the way back also to the viewpoint Logarska peč.

This is an excellent tour Robanov kot-Strelovec. I did this early spring when the mountains were still white from snow and it was unforgettable
