Doggy <3 once upon a time, some day. But how does the dog go hiking in the hills? Peca/Olševa/Raduha too big a bite?

Doge are awesome. But they are prone to heart problems and hip dysplasia. Occasional longer hikes shouldn't hurt, but definitely wait until it develops well. Sometimes my head hurts when I see puppies taken to bigger hills/mountains. It's still all soft..
Definitely don't go in big heat. It's basically more of a "couch" dog..they live cca 7-8 years.
If you're very active, definitely recommend some other dog breed, choice is really wide

Gradualness is mother of wisdom, especially with large breeds. Skeleton is no joke. Yeah actually I have kinda 3 breeds eyed PRT, ZP and short-haired Scottish sheepdog. Also smooth-coated retriever, which dropped out due to really very common cancer and consequently many die young. Currently living with senior shepherd mix who stays home when I go to mountains.
