Vintgar Gorge will open for viewing on 15 May. A special entry and exit regime will apply.
Dear members of the Gorje Tourist Association,
we invite you again to view the Vintgar Gorge, which opens its doors on Friday, 15.05.2020.
For this season, we have prepared a bit differently due to the current situation. We kindly ask you to read the instructions below and follow them, and above all, we ask for your understanding.
We have prepared the instructions to minimize the possibility of COVID-19 infection for visitors and employees.
We have separated the entry and exit points. There will be no possibility of return through the gorge. This will prevent encounters on narrow sections of the path. Entry exclusively at the log cabin in Podhom village, exit at Šum Waterfall on Blejska Dobrava.
For the return, you can choose various circular paths.
All paths are clearly marked on information boards and with signs along the path.
Please note that the circular viewing path will take a total of 3 to 4 hours. We recommend sportswear and hiking boots. Hiking poles will also not be superfluous.
