Let's go to Triglav, this time I'll go via izzi and as soon as possible before the queues appear again, because last year in August exactly on Sunday I walked up and back at a snail's pace from Mali Triglav.

The optimal time for Triglav is before the first snow in autumn, then you avoid the crowds too and have peace before the "stall" on the ridge

We don't go to the mountains because of mountain names, but because of the joy of nature, and it is everywhere, not just on Triglav.

JusAvgustin hit the right term for Triglav, I'd just add that if experience allows, winter in snow is incomparably nicer And again experience, not "plodding" on normal route but from glacier up via Mueller chimney. That's it

Since I was the initiator of this topic, I'll write something in this topic "together to the mountains".
Already some time ago, the user @Velkavrh and I via PM planned to go to Jalovec; since there was no good weather, we postponed the ascent until the weather improved. Yesterday was the ideal day: morning at 5:30 in front of the hut in Planica, quickly feet on the path, through the Planica-Tamar valley over the scree below Jalovska škrbina, where we go under the snowfield and continue towards Jalovska škrbina. When we reach the "saddle", we descend and climbing awaits us again; pegs and protections were plenty. The path later becomes easier; the path went over scree and higher again to some saddle. A bit of descent from there joins the path from the hut under Špičak; again entry to the climbing wall, later to the ridge path and soon we reach the summit of Jalovec: book entry, a few pics, short rest, snack and it was time for descent. This time descent to Kotovo sedlo; the path seemed harder as it was crumbly; protections, pegs do not lack almost to Kotovo sedlo. A bit before Kotovo sedlo the path difficulty drops to easy hiking; only a long walk on the easy path to Dom v Tamarju and on the closed road to Planica in front of the hut awaits us. I've been going to the mountains since 2008: first year only some small hills to about 1600m, 2009-10 easy to difficult paths, this year very demanding paths; somewhere one has to start. Looking for new mountaineers who would plan ascents together; now is still time until no snow; I also go on winter ascents but only easier ones, because I don't have gear yet.

From now on I'll hike alone, wherever I go I'll go with more caution and mustn't underestimate my "experience"; maybe I'll step back one notch in path difficulty; even easy to hard hikes are nice and relaxed. During this time they invited me to join @nata24, @velkavrh, @jusAvgustin, @ tiyana, @UrOs_95; that's all in these 2-3 years; hope I didn't miss anyone.
@nata24 invited me on various hikes, but since I just didn't have time, we didn't arrange anything; finally she figured I'm too "slick" on the forum.

Invited me a good while ago, but he only does alpine tours + winter ascents, but my gear is still poor.

Invited me to the group; recently they went to Montaž, but bad weather forecast and I didn't join.

He wrote to me on PM too, but seems too young and without transport.
From now on I only hike solo; simply no good response; opened threads in vain. I'll definitely keep adding pics from my hikes, like for years alone somewhere in the mountains, where beauty and peace are priceless.

Looking for like-minded for high and long, as well as short and sweet and all shapes of mountain rambles. Where my soul rejoices and a tear falls, there where my heart is forever chained.
Anyone from Maribor, who would go on some tour at least 1x weekly (that's my current pace) and has time during the week too, wins all around. SO MANY WISHES, SO MANY PATHS, NEVER ENDING STORY. Cool, because there's still so much before...

I'm from around MB and hike quite a bit to hills-mountains throughout the year but have to disappoint you, I don't hike in winter, at this time only some hill ranges...in summer no problem to knock off some tour together. Kamniks I know like the back of my pocket, can also go to Julians...only thing don't mind me, I take lots of photos so I'm very slow on tour...some pics from various tours here
