I understand Bojan and Žiga because one thing is to lead someone, another is to go with someone. In the first case, there is also some responsibility on the "leader", in the second there isn't.
Anyway, I mostly hike solo because basically in mountains you're never alone and in huts company is quickly found.

Tomorrow should be a nice sunny day, so I'd head a little into the mountains, namely to the south side of the Bohinj mountains.
Maybe Črna prst or Rodica or Vogel or even Krn.

Yesterday I took 60 kids to Vogar. It was nice. 
But I haven't been seriously in the mountains for an eternity.

I agree: own transport, difficulty, also which end of Slo. you live in. All this data may be important to someone? Don't take it as an interrogation, just sometimes hikers in the same place barely agree on a hike. It's hard with a person you know nothing about.

Thanks for your questions. I'm 51, live in Ljubljana, have own transport. Average fitness, go anywhere. Haven't hiked mountains in special conditions yet. I have time on weekends.

BT88, it's true that everyone can express their opinion about anything, but some good taste (read culture) is needed there - and sadly your statement is mildly put a bit off. I don't understand why this topic chafes some people's gall so much  Once again please: whoever doesn't get this topic, ignore it!

Maybe we should organize following the example of the website http://prevoz.org/ Interested enter planned trip and search for companion(s) who would go along. Could such or similar thing be set up on our forum?

I don't know why anyone couldn't arrange a joint trip with anyone on this forum. Is it maybe something blasphemous... I don't know. It still seems better to me than competing over who got to the top faster in the shortest time and arguing on the forum if it's really possible so fast... no hard feelings, it's just a debate

I agree with the predecessor's opinion. A form could be created. Definitely, such a topic - to really come alive - should always be visible on the portal. But that depends on the administrator...

I'm also looking for some companion for next year. This year as BEGINNER I did 8000m ascent, walked 40km one way, more or less same path up and down. Reached 10 goals.
Next year definitely going demanding paths, but wouldn't like to go alone.
On AC go in Ljubljana-Podutik
