Halooo solo hikers. I've been away for a long time, thought what I missed on this forum... Solo hikers (all) of the whole country unite. Nah just kidding, but really thought this topic would hit the nail on the head, but nothing like that happened. This year I'll be on paths in Western Julians, north side of Kanin and demanding paths in Martuljek group. Anyone with enough time, fitness, knowledge, courage etc.? If you're better, I learn from you and vice versa. Agree?

Hi Edina, count me in right away! Second half of June or early July, would love to climb Rombon, had it on "list" long time. If you're for it tell me, maybe someone joins us and we make small group, hop up, on return organize together some ending somewhere and maybe plan next trip. Or just us two, anyway Rombon planned this year. Best m.

Hi marchy, I actually had northern approaches in the Kanin group in mind like: Vrh Krnice, Visoki Kanin, Žrd, Lopa etc., well Rombon isn't a bad idea either, especially since I haven't gone from the fortress in Kluže yet, so yes, we'll definitely arrange when the time comes. LP

If anyone wants to go to Triglav they can write to me on PM, now I know the path, equipment good crampons and enough fitness. Poles recommended. FREE, not like PD Matica which demands 40 euros or whatever for guiding. I suggest the following and I will also demand that on hribi.net such a corner is made to only organize hikes somewhere to the mountains, say Kanjavec on such and such day, starting point there and there, we could also drive together from LJ.... Otherwise I go to the mountains almost every Sunday if the weather is nice, I avoid days with bad weather forecast.

Oh Mate07... I have no words at all... you've been to Triglav once already, now you have enough knowledge and experience to lead those who want to go there for the first time (I assume you're targeting them, since you especially emphasize that you know the path)... do you even realize that this means responsibility? What will you do with someone who faints on you? That could happen quickly, because some beginner won't keep up with your pace... and I don't know if you can be a role model, given that your only equipment is crampons, poles recommended, the rest is pure darkness... You know, PDs, by leading people to the mountains who don't want to go alone due to lack of experience or just for company, also take responsibility for them, carry the necessary equipment for possible belays, first aid etc. etc.... what of their responsibility would you take on FOR FREE? I hope no naive person will be found... who could end up paying dearly for their naivety...

Mate07, how many routes to Triglav do you know? The one from Rudno polje, maybe from Krma you know, or do you know the dangers of the path through Plemenice too...??? This can't be true, grow up a bit!! LP B

Hahaha, the Horjul know-it-all who saw Triglav up close for the first time wants to become organizer and guide for inexperienced hikers. Hello Mato, have you ever wondered why you always go to the mountains alone?

Who even asked you for a comment??? For beginners the easiest path to the top of Triglav is from Krma, via Planika, I don't know other paths, this is enough for beginners. I wouldn't be any organizer, just set a date and go... anyway it's pointless lately to even write anything on the forum, because some of you are so rude...

@prokofjev Because it suits me better that way, I've already got quite a few requests for group planning in the mountains, but I still prefer to go alone.

This is how three, four, maybe more strangers arrange on the forum, meet in some valley under the mountains and set off on a tour. One has no experience on difficult secured paths, the other has very little fitness, the third is fitness-charged like lightning and goes on the path in sneakers, without backpack and with anorak around the waist. The fourth is okay, but has some chronic illness. And they head to Triglav via, say, Tomiški. After 2h the weather unexpectedly changes ... Continue the story with your own imagination. And no panic, GRS is on constant standby at Brnik over the summer.

This year already 22 fatal cases, last year at this time 6. Don't worry about such comments. (cynicism?.. whose?)

I can't rest until I chime in myself. When I was young I also took friends to Triglav several times, but those I knew and knew their fitness. Then I did a guide course and passed it. Since I'm a guide, I lead fewer people to the mountains than before and I specifically select reliable ones, for whom I know there won't be problems. The older you are, the more you realize responsibility for others in case of an accident. As long as nothing happens it's all good, but what in the opposite case?

Mate07, with such invitations (given your "experience" on secured paths) do you mean it seriously, or just provoke so you see how we'll bury you with comments and try to bring you to your senses before something happens. Comparison with qualified guides is completely inappropriate. It doesn't even cross my mind to pick up someone on the street without proper knowledge and take him to Triglav. Dude, get serious, otherwise this will almost certainly not end well!
