On the recreational tourist portal GeaGo, besides a multitude of other paths in Slovenia (cycling, hiking, mountaineering), the hiking paths in Jesenice municipality are also described (route, texts, curiosities, pictures).

Today one circular tour: Trilobit - Stamare - Hrašenska - concrete bivouac - Vajnež - Rida - Seča - Trilobit. The path from the junction to Stamare to below Vajnež is fully marked and signposted with direction boards, suitable also for those who walk marked paths. From Stamare onwards it is nice and scenic and completely easy. This morning peaks over 2000 m had a thin snow cover.

On Sunday first time in Javorniški rovt. From there along the marked path to planina Seča. Then to Kamnitnik and Mali vrh, then to Potoški Stol, Mali Stol, Stol, back to Potoški Stol, Vajnež and descent via planina Stamare to Javorniški rovt and to the party at Dom Pristava, where there was a gathering and lots of people. Tour with solid views, not too hot. Lots of people on Stol from both our and Austrian side. Nice tour worth repeating.

Today to the highest peak of Jesenice municipality, namely from Trilobit via planina Stamare, descent via planina Seča. Morning pleasantly cool, path perfect for real enjoyment. On return at height about 1400m encountered real devastation from snow slide, towards Trilobit path properly torn up after recent storms. Weather nice - worth shouting about, as they say.

Saturday, 7.7.2018
Started above Potoška planina and climbed past Urbas and bivouac to the summit. Descent along the ridge and past planina and bivouac back. Weather acceptable, sheep friendly, company excellent, views magnificent and cornmeal mush with sour milk on planina very tasty (as the girls I was with said, I only coffee, which also went down well). Nice trip

@turbo now I really don't understand why the princess had to stay home if you went to the mountains with two ladies. Such a nice soft path, friendly for four paws, but you leave Cathy at home

Princess stayed home for two justifiable reasons. First because of sheep and horses grazing on the hill, even more because next day we went to Creta Forata in Carnic Alps. Wonderful tour that princess managed with joy and ease, despite her almost thirteen years - also rest day before for that -, I'll post it soon, as I need to finish writing it and select right photos
