The flowers up there are really in full bloom now. Some of you took really artistic photos.
Regarding the visit, Sunday was more like the summer rush, there were plenty of foreigners too. Snow patches are just a nice addition that will soon disappear. I did the classic loop (Calcit, Primož, Pirčev vrh, Jarški dom, Mali Vršič and Poljanski rob, and along it to Gradišče). It adds up to exactly 1400m of elevation and was great relaxation after Friday's očak. I'm glad the trio of huts kept moderate prices. Large tea at Jarški costs e.g. 2.20€ - for comparison, schweps at the Kamnik bypass is 3.40mrk pogled
The real treat was hitchhiking to the car, a gentleman with a Ford Mustang, year '69, stopped for menasmeh
Grinta from Pirčev vrh shows a very spring-like appearance.1
Apart from the gullies, packed snow in KSA above 1900m. (southern slopes)2
A glimpse of Planjava with Gradišče.3
Good that there are no cows yet to shit on them or trample them.4

If you've all already been to Velika... well, me too velik nasmeh
And that twice in 3 days... on almost the same path zadrega Up over Rigelj, down Dolski graben... only a little different in between. And in different light.

Today up there again a bit of winter, despite the cold there was no shortage of visitors.
From the shelter of Jarški dom.1
I hope they will see the bloom.2

Kamniško sedlo also changed color for a few hours.8

I'm going to Velika Planina for the first time... with friends, we don't have much hiking experience, and we don't know what's the best approach for parking, since we're from the other end of Slovenia... Any suggestions?

Otherwise, as per my habit, late with the post again (the riddle isn't to blame), the crocuses might already be a bit purple, but that's not the point this time. The point is the updates on the paths I was on.
Kačjek and Gamsove streže: no more obstacles, all the logs that were lying one on top of the other have been sawn up and the path is completely normally passable. Except for the torrent gullies.
Kuklarji: on the climbing section there are some new protections since last year.

p.s. for the predecessor - I DON'T recommend the mentioned paths for the first time nasmeh

hey, sorry, what did you mean by the climbing part over Kuklarje? those ropes at the gully crossing, or something else? cheers

I'd just add that the path compared to last year is better trodden - especially that the steps are more reliable when crossing two (scree-covered) scree slopes - one right after the gully secured with a rope, the other a bit lower - on the descent
