Velika was well visited yesterday. On one side skiers, on the other hikers.

They spoiled the winter idyll with noise, polluted and terrorized hundreds of visitors, arrogant braggarts with snowmobiles.
Annual winter tourist eco offer.
In the shelter the snow on the ridges has remained.1

Conditions almost identical to Friday's, only the snow flurry started a minute or so earlier, at the top one or two degrees colder, Šimnovec also in fog. Snow has settled a bit, between Gradišče and Šimnovec groomed ski slope, not a single skier though. The emergency track now allows safe crossing of the plateau (Domžalec-Gradišče) even in the worst fog.

For me too, a sunny day on Vel'ka finally came. The fog had already cleared in Kamnik, and soon above Vegrad you could feel the power of the sun. Icy base all the way to Mickina hut, where there’s no more ice, but it appears in a few places below Pirčev vrh. After descending from it, I was back on bare ground for a while; the snow cover only starts at the forest. Before Jarški dom, only the bench under the eaves was clear of snow – I changed clothes on it while trying to keep balance. Hat, gloves, gaiters, and crampons all stayed in the backpack; the walk to Gradišče was pure enjoyment. I was surprised by the crowd of skiers on the well-prepared ski slope. Because the cable car was delayed again, the bus left right in front of me. A policeman who had finished work at the ski resort offered me a ride to Calcit – many thanks to him for that.

Today skiing is surprisingly good. Especially towards Tihi valley. There also completely quiet and peaceful, from all the crowds of today, almost no one went there nasmeh

They forecasted worse weather for today and quite windy, but it missed us. From start to goal complete calm, the sun showed for a couple of seconds a few times, I noticed light rain only in the bus when the driver occasionally turned on the wipers.
Up to Primož I meet three people who were already returning from there, higher no one, silence disturbed by occasional bird song. As if cut off, snow at Mickina bajta, whole planina above 1400 nicely covered with it. To Črnuški I ski in a perfectly straight line, snow holds me mostly. With arrival at Gradišče it got a bit darker, only a handful of skiers despite well prepared and compacted track. A day or two (mornings) skiing will still be pleasant, the worst is right before Šimnov, where it already breaks through to the ground.

Today on Mala planina slightly windy, on the path from Stahovica already quite hot. The snow is rotten and sinks significantly. Today not a single foot stayed dry, no matter what someone had on their feetvelik nasmeh. It's nice up there!

Spring is slowly coming to the lower hills too, but so far there is no noticeable increase in visitors. In the morning at Calcit it was still a bit cold, but due to the sun and a proper walking pace I warm up quickly. The path is dry, there is a little ice on both sides of Pirčev vrh, but you can avoid it everywhere. Snow only at the exit from the forest, nicely frozen in the shady spots, it mostly holds a person. They cleaned the benches in front of Jarški, I claim the sunniest one for about half an hour. Towards Gradišče I cut along the edge, I have small gaiters on. The ski season up here has been over since Sunday, from Zeleni rob to Šimnovec I nicely slid down the middle of the (still quite firm) track. In the gondola, bus and at Teran I had no competition.nasmeh

On Mondays hairdressers and mountaineers have a bit of peace. Well, for me for the eleventh year Friday and holiday are the same, when a mountain comes up, days are irrelevant for me. Not only on the mountain, there was emptiness also on the way to Primož. The path to Mickina hut is icy, on Pirčev vrh only ice traces remain. Snow starts on the plateau at the first shepherd hut, at 1500 meters. On flats and shady slopes it's hard in the morning, on sunny sides you need a bit more effort to walk. At expected temperatures most whiteness on Planina will persist only until the weekend.
Let me pour out criticism on modern parents who allow everything and more to their sleepyheads. Along the path a kid picked a bouquet of flowers, after the first bend they all sadly lay on the ground.mrk pogled
