I said come back quickly.
And thanks for the report!
Where did you trudge through the snow?

I already cut the damp slabs on Riko's advice from Matizovec and installed them in the ridge tips. Such wood needs to be fixed quickly so it doesn't warp when drying later. All in all nothing to see, but I sweated quite a bit to mark and take angle measurements with the slab in hand and sawed for a long time with a plunge saw, because the slab is too heavy and long for a table saw.
Next comes planing the backrest parts and screwing, somewhere also planing to 1cm thickness, because of the final connecting brackets which I already left inside for better pear statics. It will be like an authentic log cabin in the Savoysvelik nasmeh

oh, I thought Viharnik doesn't need a warm home at all ... nasmeh, that he's more nature, under a spruce or something like that! Nice, it's good that people still know how and want to make something themselves!

This afternoon I played around a bit againvelik nasmeh and this came out...
To Čeveljc's reply I'd say that in India ´´under a spruce´´ I spiritually felt incomparably better than here in the trenches, that we don't even know our neighbors. The more you have, the more isolated and less spiritual you aremežikanje.

...and often unnecessarily always in bad mood, everyone angry and dissatisfied, what all we still lack and if we had it, then happiness would be immeasurable, right?? In the end though .. we have beautiful nature, and if you have a few really sincere friends, it's already quite good. The rest comes and goes .. maybe that's how it should be?

All that we see as the apparent, say material world, is practically an illusion (Maha maya), which our Holy Mother named. That permanent and true joy comes from our spiritual balance, when we are in the point of presence and can enjoy as spirit in everything, move around, go where we like, eat something good sometimes etc. No science can conjure that for us. According to Mother's speech, we are that miracle of creation where the divine waits for us to discover it once and remove all the shackles of this world's illusions that always bind us and lead us astray from the path and do not allow our spiritual rebirth. Therefore meditation is very important for self-spiritual growth, where you are alone with yourself and later can distinguish between the external imaginary world and your own spirit within.

When will you replace the window, given that you're aligning everything? Old and poorly sealed window causes additional losses......

Grega, if you see such swiss, you're already on the ´´right path´´.
Panda, of course I'll change it for Siberian Larch window - Lesko Žiri, but slowly, because we're not exactly tycoonsvelik nasmehmežikanje.Just that one window you see will cost me 600eur.

I can arrange cheap wooden windows for you (4-layer laminated spruce or larch 92 mm) at a solid price. If you're interested, contact me on ZS, and we'll sort it out. nasmeh

The other side of the truss construction was much harder, because the tie beams are thicker there. With planing along the entire length to a 1 cm depth, it was quite a partyzmedenjezenjezik to align this thing with the entire wall beam construction. At the sides of the trusses, where I couldn't plane, I tackled the inner sides of the planks there and solved the problemnasmeh. Then followed planing the edges of planks, milling 2 cm deep for the groove seating of washers, 2 pcs. of base wood, installation of Tyvek breathable foil, insulation, twice adjusting planks (once for measuring holes, second for drilling into the wall), additional joining of plank models with tie iron.
All this is the attic, which after execution is much heavier than e.g. building walls of one ordinary living floor.
How it went through phases of five-hour work, I attach pictures. In between I listened to our song on the radio, which goes: One pure fuck, it matched the work quite well.

Viharnik, you're indestructible. This attic will be done in the style of a textbook for future builders.

Brane, because the end wall is roughly bricked and uneven, I also left a tie piece of trusses in between, I solved the thing by installing a 5 cm thick plank. Now I have a flat and solid base for Knauf profile carrier and below lots of wooden space for fixing the formwork above the windownasmeh. Better than this couldn't be done. Could only have plastered the walls in the very initial phase of the attic, but that wouldn't be completely flat either and lots of unavoidable patching and lumps of plaster. Here came in handy that saying of Knauf advisor LJ., who said there's no original rules for attic construction and sometimes peasant logic is neededvelik nasmeh.

why will you put formwork in the dormer window, didn't you say you'll have knauf in the attic?

@viharnik, who says the plaster would be uneven? Find a mason who knows it. I know onevelik nasmeh.
And leave those advisors in stores who lead water to their own mill.
How many castles would we have in Slovenia if they were clad in gypsum boards? Nothing beats good lime (without cement) plaster, if we're talking peasant logic.

it's dangerous that the plank falls on your head...
and that you cut the sparkles with an improper tool

Miri, here at the end walls it's only about fixing the load-bearing Knauf profile either directly to the wall or to wood. Making flat plaster in the wall tips is also a challenge for masters, because there due to main beam positions it's hard to make guides and cut dry plaster evenly, plastering isn't easy either in limited heights. I know sellers are greased with all ointments, so I use some info from Bosnian colleague. Yeah, lime plaster is good for what it is, e.g. for damp walls only as final coat, otherwise on rough bricked walls you can't do much with it without 4mm sand granulation and concrete and binders. With lime I repainted chimneys, good for renovating walls of old garages, use in stove making.
Brane, at my place the apartment will be a bit different more naturally made, not so industrial like at Brezizadregavelik nasmeh. Grega, you're already so smart that it harms you a bitzadrega. Dangerous for you already if you go to the hut on the slopevelik nasmeh. Those small wood ends I sawed casually with the table sawcool, without help of adjustable alu rail.
Explaining like this how and what I do is hard. I described everything and presented pictorially by phases, and still nothing drops for you. I'm not doing any science, for complete laymen I believe such work would be mission impossible. They say you only connect twice in the millzavijanje z očmi. You just keep your thumbs crossed, at the end I'll laugh the sweetestnasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh

While buying Unifit insulation today I casually talked to the seller at Obnova. He told me he had some Knauf master do his Knauf attic ceiling, but when he got home he just grabbed his head seeing the Knauf panels wavy above him. He says he fixed the carriers right to some beams where he shouldn't have at all. Well, another confirmation how craftsmen work today caring only for their own hour and earnings, probably never heard of work quality let alone know how to do anything in practice. I'll definitely do the attic myself even if it takes five more years, but I'll probably finish the main part by end of next year if I'm diligent. Still quite some work but increasingly less demanding.
