Viharnik's attic

Brand newbig grin! ... it'll be ready only in well over a year.
Until then the work will still go quite smoothly, there's a hell of a lot of material!1
After 2 x 5 hours I got a straight plaster line, to the point that I could already have a PhD. Whoever doesn't know: Plastering is done line by line so that the material bonds; it's thrown quite forcefully so that the material compresses between applicati2
For barely a few m² of 2 cm layer, 10 bags and approx. 250 kg of weight went onto the wall with plastering... later I will apply construction lime on top to bind it even better.3
This is how it went, in these positions quite strenuous.4

What are you gonna do for a whole year?

Grega, the firm will fix the attic for you if you have 50+ thousand on the pile in a few months.
If you're doing it alone with just two hands from the lower parking..., the work goes a bit slower. Otherwise, don't know if you built anything yourself? Sometimes people can't even whitewash one room, let alone build from the foundations up.
Neighbor old-timer, who built two houses and cottage in his life, plus 40 years hard maintainer work on several buildings at once in Lj (Kolezija pool and bowling, G. Figovec, Slepi Janez...), told me: If you put the attic together yourself, well done, I believe!.

Even if I had the final money for the build, I would do it myself. In that is the meaning and charm of lifewink

There are lots who don't know how to do what they step into, some who know but don't bother, those who do good go from one house straight to the next and it's hard to get them home.

Amen, and such ones have the year planned ahead where we'll be and what gets done.

In such companies salaries are not the question. Workers receive incentives and rewards for their effort, this keeps élan in the company

Yes, we must care for the workers so they are satisfied and see what they are working for; the results follow...

@viharnik, do you know why you must plaster with force?
Because you throw too weak mortar on the wall. That mortar in bags is made for minimal plaster thickness and, of course, for a master. If you want better quality mortar you must add maltit or lime to it.
Any comment on this my writing is useless.

I agree, Miri. Already now this plaster has cost me for two good trips to the mountains, 40+ eur. Mortar is classic with lime and additives for plasters, up to 2cm, as much as I plastered myself. Mixing and messing was already with this mortar too muchvelik nasmeh; cleaned up plaster remains and cut excess battens for stove.
Oh, plastering must be done quite forcefully, otherwise such work is for nothing - in vainvelik nasmeh, checked years ago with Bosnian masters.
Miri, so then, if everything stayed on the wall when I threw, I already became qualified construction mastervelik nasmehmežikanje?
Yes, don't forget to pre-wet with water.

Viharnik, if you work courageously like you, every job ends sometime. But who only whines and groans will never finish and won't be satisfied either. Bravo!

When I started buying material in Stegne Mix store a year ago, I was a bit scared what else there would be. In the same moment after the talk with the forklift driver, he himself said he sees in my eyes that I will manage alone. That relieved me and gave me additional encouragementnasmeh.
Work with the attic now goes slowly into winter sleep for some months. The attic also needs to rest from mevelik nasmeh
