The question is a bit oddly phrased, since if I understand correctly you'll start the first day from Nevea Pass so you'll return there too which means quite a few km on asphalt from Planina Pecol back to Nevea approx 1-1.5 hours depending on pace. Otherwise I assume you plan to do the tour via Ceria-Merlon path which I really recommend. A few years ago at that time on this path right after Cregnedul Notch we met the largest herd of ibex so far, all adult males. Towards the end at Špik Hude Police full of females with young. The tour is very nicely described in Mihelič's guide and for us from Nevea Saddle via Škrbina Prednje Špranje along the ridge and descent to Koča Brazza
and back to the vehicle nicely filled the whole day

For starting point of course I recommend Planina Pecol not Nevea Pass, unless with two cars, then drive one to Pecol, with the other to the start of the road to Viška Planina, variant over Viška Glavica or Beli Potok valley. If not from Planina Pecol go via Planina Laricce to Planina Krni Dol, from there over Scallini saddle/pass under Kapna Stena to Koča Corsi or already above hut up to Viš, recommend left variant from Škrbina Zadnje Špranje (forc. Moses) to Viš, and descent normal path through Predruh, for first day just right length tour. Next day from Koča Corsi again under Kapna Stena to Škrbina Prednje Špranje (Forc. Lavinal del Orso), where start/end of Ceria-Merlon path depending on side, I like it much better and easier this way. First part ascent to Krni Dol summit just right warm-up, for continuing along Špiki of course to end at Špik Hude Police, nice descent to Koča Brazza and Pecol where car waits. Good luck.

Many thanks for all replies, as you figured I assumed we go with two cars, one to pl. Pecol, the other stays at Nevea Pass, or per Igor's suggestion to the start for Viška Planina.

Yesterday from Žabniška Krnica to Koča Pelarina then to Viš via Gola Ne path, no return via Anita Goitan path back to Pelarina, nice tour, all ok on path

I'd just like to point out that that path Ne does not mean chimney but Gola NE means Gola nord-est or in our terms NE ridge.

Yes mirank if it's written on the map or if the path is named that it probably doesn't mean that. Anyway in Italian (NE IS NOT NO) but NO as here written on the notch for descent to Capito valley

Does anyone maybe know which saddle and mountain are in the picture? From Koča Corsi we went straight and reached a saddle at around 2150m. There we reached Anita Goitan path and went left, and after a good half hour reached a summit or ridge at around 2400m. We returned to the saddle and went right (Anita Goitan path). About 100m we steeply climbed along chimneys, then path flattened and we crossed Viš almost flat until joining normal path to Viš.

Škrbina Zadnje Špranje, better known as "Mojzesova Škrbina". To the left you first went to Koštrunovi Špici ridge.

Viš 2.666m (Jof Fuart or Wischberg)... today ideal conditions for visiting mountains in this part of the Julians (no clouds, no wind and no fog), also on Anita Goitan path quite a few hikers. All protections and signs OK, good part of markings (ITA lines and dots) and signs also refreshed. On south side of Viš above Corsi hut today still real summer.
Barrier at entrance to old military road to Viška planina was open today, ... and quite a few off-roaders took advantage!? Is tourist drive to foot of cableway allowed here?

On a nice August Tuesday I went with a friend along path 625 above Beli potok and further on the centenary path - wonderful path - high above Corsi hut on slight pathless terrain to Mojzesova škrbina, where we joined Anita Goitan path to Viš summit. On return from the top thunderstorm with hail caught us and we withdrew under small rock overhang, where we waited almost an hour. At Corsi hut sky opened and rest of return above Viška planina was wonderful in late afternoon sun ray colors.
Exceptionally long tour, but with beautiful views. Recommend

Today I was on Viš and at Rabeljsko jezero "met" Igor and we continued path together. Start in Jezerska dolina, direction Sella Nevea, where by road sign for Corsi hut and can drive car to barrier, then continued on foot on road to Viška planina. Further to Corsi hut, still open, went right side and continued to Škrbina zadnje Špranje to Viš top, snow-covered but snow no problem. Despite fog lower, on top lucky with views. On way back did loop under Gamsova mama, right side of Mala Špica slope (no snow and went pathless, but still watch for slip) and Divje Koze to Trbiška škrbinica on Anita Goitan path. Returned under Kapna stena past V.planina and back to start. Path very liked, especially return natural passages on ledges. Day wonderful, there was sun, there was fog, it was warm, company can only praise and thank him
