Yes, and also personal names, to which place names belong, are written with a capital letter. Otherwise, Nevejsko sedlo is also correct. In this case, the names themselves are not even important; more important is the path to the top and back down, which someone completes, someone doesn't. And one is really surprised when one suddenly meets someone whom one otherwise "knows" only from the forum. And that wasn't the only meeting; we also met a larger group from Celje. And we also said goodbye to the caretakers of the Corsi hut, until next year.

When were you up there? Today or yesterday? I hiked solo towards the top today; I didn't meet a living soul. Well, from afar I saw one shadow on the top, but then I didn't meet a person. In the morning everything above the valley was in fog, then it occasionally cleared. When I stepped into the wall, I was in fog again, then I rose above the clouds and eyes could only admire. I didn't climb to the very top. I rather skipped the last few meters because it was snowy and wet. I left the treat for next time. On the way back I stopped at the hut, which will be open until 17 October. I returned via the German one, which is somewhat muddy in some sections.

The beauty of the Western Julians across the border invites me again and again. Free originally planned to Lepa glava, but quickly changed plan and joined me on the path to Viš. Through the valley of Beli potok pleasant morning cool and stream babble accompanied us. In the cirque above Bruner hut we stepped from shade to sunny slopes that didn't leave us until Krniška škrbina. There in shade we descended towards G. Corsi hut, but soon left marked path and via unmarked trail headed under mighty walls towards the path to Trbiška škrbinica (forc. Riofredo). There we started on Anita Goitan path, one of the nicest traverses on ledges (exception part over Mala špica) all the way to classic path through preduh from Corsi hut to Viš. Of course we climbed the panoramic summit, which this time was, as far view to Dolomites and High Tauern. After break we descended to Škrbina zadnje Špranje (forc. Mose) and down to Corsi hut. Ester served us nicely, so continuation "over gullies" and past Viška glavica back to start despite heat rising from Jezerska dolina was quite pleasant. Almost no snow on path, fixed protections in good condition, recommend climbing harness, via ferrata set and helmet. Tour can be split into two days with bivouac or hut overnight and visit some more summit, there are plenty.

Mala Špica - Inominata, bypassing on the north side due to steep snowfields is not yet possible

Some technical details: almost 2000 altitude meters, 10 hours gross with lots of views, experience: priceless. There's no such Mastercard...

And this happens to me despite a very good tip from one of the forum members!
I took the wrong path already from the Corsi hut, actually went towards Nevea saddle. I walked for a while, then I realized ...
I didn't go back to Viš, but walked quite a bit around there, including path 626 to saddle or start of scree, but don't even know where that path goes. First time in this area. Extremely nice, great views nasmeh

It was worth it anyway ... really nice day, even though goal was to stand on Viš nasmeh

@janna, don't take forum advice as pure gold. For Vis area ask Igor properly. Watch who knows what area. More luck next summit, maybe less hot and tiring. nasmeh

Despite the heat still on the last stable day for the mountains I set off towards Viš, then whatever will be, will be.
From home I start even a quarter before six, in Žlebe a little after seven. Compared to Ljubljana stuffiness it was naturally air-conditioned at Nevea saddle. Quick pace and I overtake a group of young Italians, go up to Cregnedul hut and further always in shade and cool almost to Sella degli Scalini. At the drip wall hikers barely make it to the saddle 2022m behind. At the hut I drink just one Frutabela and immediately start ascent on the famous Anita Goitan path. First nice scrambling, then some paths, at the chapel seemingly tougher sharp spur from distance, which I elegantly climbed close up. Further path makes some cuts with exposed bends, then on ledges old narrow and new wide cables help. Innomonato I traverse the south variant and descend into steep narrow gully, which also didn't cause me special trouble, just need to judge steps and body inclination so gravity holds. There I met an Italian woman, expert on our Julians too and feels great in mountains-peace. She climbs very lightly, slowly, with short secure steps and holds. To the fork for Viš I go with her, then due to obligatory swim in Raibl Lake because of late hour end the tour.
What would be nicer than this PATH, Viš and Marija will wait for me until next meeting. nasmeh

Anita Goitan path is masterfully routed with natural passages and nicely climbable.

Down there on the ledge goes the path, where sometimes step lower because of the cable-swing into the abyss.

Only two of us met here, with calm heartfelt harmonious voice that overtook me over Innnominata on northern bypass variant.

Me down here through the narrow steep chimney gully. Above no pegs for footholds, just steep wall itself.

Nectarine as a miracle of kindness in the heat.

Nothing left for smuko but soon autumn and winter.

Greeting from Scalini and first small meal.

Swimming under Jerebica is really something special.

Yesterday (03-09-2011) we went to Viš via Gola Nord-Est (NE couloir of Viš) from Pellarini hut. To summit under 5 hrs and we were first on top just before 11. Even if we ordered the weather, probably wouldn't get such a beautiful day. For crossing the snowfield before wall entry we used ice axe and crampons. Otherwise possible without gear since snowfield is loaded with stones, but we chose the "safe" variant as we were already carrying all gear. If you scratch the snowfield you find solid ice below!! Path marks are sparse and faded, but there are cairns at key spots so orientation is not difficult. The wall entry at snowfield exit bothered me somewhat. We entered at the upper ledge although there was a red dot visible 20 m lower! After the ledge the path is trodden and we quickly find cairn and mark. Path through gully is beautiful, varied, pristine. Path follows natural passages and scrambles over smooth loaded boulders. Cables only where really necessary. Some damaged but no major obstacle. Distances between pitons large so intended for belay not progression. Climbing next to cable nowhere exceeds "weak" II grade – short jumps or entry chimney (if I allow this terminology for technical scramble), plenty holds so climbing is pure pleasure. 7 m high overhanging rock obstacle well protected no problems (carved steps and added pitons). Only annoying is short descent along cable before exit to grassy ledge (God's ledges), otherwise path without special features. Of course constant concentration and experience from similar paths needed. Summit almost windless and great views. For descent we chose Anita Goitan traverse as we had to return to Pellarini hut for items left there. Path scenic on ledges. Continued on path 627 to fork for Pellarini hut. Path 618 to Žabniška škrbina (Sella Carnizza) is secured. Descent from škrbina "straight" on scree was adrenaline (at one moment had to brake with all claws nasmeh

). Don't recommend chosen off-official path option, as it's not pleasant at all. Path 618 goes on left side of debris (viewed from top of škrbina). Still beer in hut and end of this nice tour.
On path met only 3 Italians and more than 50 Slovenes. Before we descended from Viš several Slovene groups reached the top and from their talk I concluded they are active hribi.net portal users. Nice greetings to all from Koper.
