Thanks. Back via Anita Goitan and over Trbiška škrbina. Other option via Škrbina prednje špranje even more awkward or collapsed in upper part. I think it'd be faster/less strenuous to avoid Anita, descend a bit more and then up to Trbiška škrbina.

I remember that someone on the forum recently mentioned the descent from the former Corsi hut via path 629/650, but for the life of me I can't find it anymore. I'm thinking if it would be useful as access to Corsi. Please, does anyone know: is the path passable or is it longer/more time-consuming than the one over Viška planina, which is otherwise quite ok, if it weren't for that endless concrete slope

Path 629 for the approach to Corsi hut is more demanding than paths 628 and 628a. A helmet is recommended.

We have already descended this path a couple of times, but it didn't appeal to me because of two specific up-down intermediate sections, but it's not technically demanding at all, and it's also longer.
Because a year ago for unknown reasons-maybe you, Alessio, know why, they closed access to the old starting point, I noticed a sign right after the bridge over Rio Torto. Apparently they have restored the old path along the bed of this stream again. This way we avoid trudging on concrete, well at least most of that pleasure About a quarter of a century ago we descended there, but then below Viška planina I no longer spotted the turnoff to this path, because we always walked mostly on the road. By the way, an interesting access to Corsia is from the S nevea pass- Na žlebeh

I think this access is nicer, although the path in the upper part is more meager.

Today Viš. From the bridge across Rio Torto along 628 to Viška planina the trail is super. Thanks mirank. Start at 4h. Corsi sadly falling apart. Over Mojzesova škrbina to both summits. Alone, no wind. Back normal, next time A. Goitan. Met only Italians. Viška planina looks alive, cca.20 vehicles on the mountain. Nice hot day, exceptional views and mountains
