Today on Viševnik. My colleague and I broke trail to the top. It sank in quite deep, somewhere to the knees, somewhere even over.

Last night we quickly decided to go to Viševnik, and we were right. The path is nicely trodden / thanks pantani1 and company /, weather today wonderful, crampons stayed in backpacks, quite a few hikers and ski tourers. On return invasion on Rudno polje. All parked. We also went to check the shooting range a bit, where it's quite lively.

Today on Viševnik completely hard, some parts icy... We skied the South-West gully.

Have to wait for new snow shipment for more enjoyable skiing. nasmeh

Today Viševnik again in true winter shape.
Ski track already done, even most persistent walkers without gear made it to the top. Snowshoes highly recommended.velik nasmeh

Today's impressions from Viševnik.
In the upper part caution is needed and it's best to stick to the direction of the rock and the ridge above it. Some have already reached the top with snowshoes.nasmeh

Winter still pampering us a bit, wiggling its butt and swishing its tail! Above Pokljuka conditions for (touring) skiing are excellent, but strong sun and temperatures quickly doing their thing...

Some of them went up, since today the European youth biathlon championship was taking place at Rudno polje. You could still hear them at VDVvelik nasmeh

Today's beautiful morning promised a nice day, so from Rudno polje I headed to Viševnik.
Weather throughout beautiful, sunny, almost no wind, almost kitschycool Path in morning still frozen, otherwise packed and, if I ignore those few times, without wading. Later already softened but still completely OK. I didn't use crampons myself, but many I met did; individual decision. Lots of hikers, skiers, snowboarders,... (almost promenade) and so met some several times - chatted. Festive mood at top too nasmeh
One thing: pics of pleasant mežikanje young ladies posted with their permission.

Morning at Rudno polje near ice rink, snow slightly frozen, no wind, warmer towards top, corn snow and mushy, strong southwest wind and ragged clouds. Still nice morning spent among peaks...

On 25.5.2016 I found a pair of black gloves on the Viševnik slope, which I transported via Viševnik, M. Draški and V. Draški vrh home to tel. 041 582 608. Don't discard gloves, it's hot now - in over half a year you'll need them again, autumn and winter will start then!

The path to Viševnik is dry, one small snowfield which doesn't pose an obstacle ;-)
