Today I walked the circular path to Vošca. I started the path at Srednji Vrh and ascended along the Jerman stream to Železnica. I continued towards Blekova planina and Zajčnik and further to Vošca. I descended via Jureževa planina back to Srednji Vrh.
Snow starts around 1200 m, then gradually thickens. Above 1700 m it is between 50 and 70 cm.
The path to Vošca is partially trodden, the path over Zajčnik is not (only what I waded).

...Yesterday's Sunday really called to nature. But we weren't alone, quite a few headed to Vošca. Some with skis, others with dog buddies, quite colorful. To Jureževa planina frozen snow, ahead some 15 cm new powder, on firm base. Sun not much, views still beautiful, bye Majda.. nasmeh

That's how it was today on Vošca (via Jureževa planina): morning quite frosty, path (also shortcut above forest road) trodden, summit no wind, some new powder, paradise for skiers. Snow from Srednji Vrh onwards.
More than a dozen visitors.

Heinz, Tadej, that's not a bad idea at all. We probably meet several times and don't even know about each other, but on the forum we almost all *know* each other. In quotes of course nasmeh

Today, on Culture Day, Vošca was more deserted. Morning nicely frozen snow, around 10:00 already quite mushy on sunny slopes. Nature and views wonderful!

The road from Korensko sedlo to Jureževa planina is closed indefinitely due to logging. They set up a cargo cableway on it and around there is a huge amount of felled timber.

Today we tested the first snow of the year on Vošca. On the pasture there was snow 20 to 30 cm. The path is well trodden. It was a day to enjoy. nasmeh

...Relatively short, easy hike, but lots of nice views. The forest is already getting autumn colors. On Vošca the summit log has been there a while, and in the red box there's also a stamp that wasn't there before, čav Majda nasmeh

...From Jurež to forest road almost need small crampons, or also "ketnce". From planina on snow, joy all the way to top. Wonderful views, even to Carinthia nicely visible today. Pleasant tour, on such nice day, cheers.. nasmeh
