Repeated skiing from a few days ago. Snow slowly but steadily deteriorating. Recommend crampons for ascent.

With Lara we went today along the border path to Zelenica.
There are some avalanche debris on the path. We went to the hut for coffee, then to Vrh Ljubeljščice and to Spodnji Plot.
Down along the road to Jančmanov kotiček, then again through the forest.
Šentanski plaz and Centralna grapa are still nicely covered. We also noticed some touring skiers.
Nice weather with little wind.

Hey hill climbers,
on Sunday I'd head to Triangel from Ljubelj, maybe someone knows if there's still avalanche danger on the very difficult path?

On Friday I was at Zelenica, and there's no avalanche danger at all nasmeh

The whole path is dry nasmeh

I took ice axe and crampons with me, if I were to go to Begunjščica but no one has gone yet and no avalanches either.

Ljubeljščica
Yesterday, nice, demanding circular path starting at Ljubelj, continuing to the Ljubelj hut and on to Povna peč. After a short stop, continuing along the demanding ridge to the top of Ljubeljščica and then to Spodnji Plot and to the Zelenica hut. After refreshment in the hut, back along the Border path to the start at Ljubelj. Great caution needed on the ridge to avoid slipping.

Yesterday from Ljubelj we climbed to Zelenica and to Vrh Ljubeljščice and continued along the Ljubeljščice ridge to the hut at Ljubelj pass. The path is interesting and attractive for all who don't mind some climbing. But I want to warn that additional protection (rope) is needed at the crossing of the trail from the ridge to the Austrian side under the rocks, where erosion has washed away the trail and the step on crumbly sand of the very steep slope is critical or extremely dangerous. Of course, this is subjective.

Today from Ljubelj to Zelenica, to Spodnji Plot via easier via ferrata, over Ljubeljščica ridge and Povno peč back. Path without peculiarities.

First time on this via ferrata and ridge. Nice little tour.

View of the initial part of the difficult sports via ferrata. It waits for now until the future, until then acquire some belly fat and eat more žganci... :)

...however, the instructional via ferrata is not boring either.

Šentanski and Zeleniški plaz on Begunjščica, from Spodnji plot.

This potentially tricky ground passage is nicely arranged and not problematic.

Today nice circular path along the demanding Ljubeljščica ridge. Start at parking lot a bit above the concentration camp below Ljubelj. To the ridge via border path. Along demanding ridge path to Ljubeljščica summit and descent to Zelenica hut - after refreshment back via border path to start. It was a hot day with wonderful views.

Zelenica is 3rd among ARSO measuring stations by snow depth, almost 70cm. Well... I don't know if they didn't pile it up to measure that much... zadrega

On Tuesday before shift on a short and close one, where it should be nice to ski down. But not much nice skiing, all the time just watching rocks sticking out mrk pogled
