After 10 days I'm reporting back, nature surprised us thoroughly with its power this time, after the last comment glaze had built up already 3-4cm, then outside like 1.1. due to branches breaking. That day also without power, phone, GSM signal zero, roads impassable (10km to valley). Heated with stove/bread oven, even baked bread. Slept in room with 10-12°C, morning even less. With headlamp leafed through alpine gazette about 30 issues. Outside only with crampons walkable, with just boots couldn't fetch wood to house... till today roads plowed, trees removed but still on village big generator (min.5x/day power out, night generator off), phone lines all torn so got wireless internet installed these days. Roads closed till recently, today drivable without problems. Feeling and actually when you experience it and return from 2014 to 1950, but don't misunderstand we are used to such prov life and very proud of stove that provided heating, cooked dinner, milk and like old times leafed through PV near it. Had half meter snow. Yesterday went forest paths, years provided recreation, cleared branches myself, even trimmed annoying twigs, now total mess, fallen trees, broken branches in crowns waiting to fall, climbing over spruce branches, but will clear branches, make detour somewhere.
