Two little Slovenians on ski touring in Austrian Carinthia lost a touring ski in an avalanche and triggered a search action. 54 mountain rescuers arrived at the scene and when they figured out what it was about, they stopped the rescue. I hope they get a hefty bill!

The action was triggered by another hiker who saw them from afar probing the avalanche debris with avalanche probes while searching for the lost ski.
Given that these are gentlemen aged 50 and 51 I think you are out of place calling them little Slovenians.
Also numbers don't go well for you, you reversed them. There were 45 rescuers and police.

Age of participants doesn't mean guarantee that everything is or will be ok! And one more thing if they had at least a bit awareness of what they were doing they wouldn't have triggered avalanche but assessed conditions properly and waited a day or so. Well nothing bad, you learn best from others' mistakes if you grasp the lesson!

Turbo, why do you want to cut our constitutionally guaranteed right to know or be informed? Fewer ads and notices mean less access to big discounts, special sales and cheap buys as a result. I'd give the winner double dose of ads. Regards
