@viharnik, and in those places you know through spirituality, do they know snow and what relationship do they have to it?

Snow covers all the mess of humanity, so we can interpret it also as a divine gift. Some holy mountains also get names after snow deities, similar to our Marija Schnee or on our Velika planina. In the Himalayas, for Tibetan Buddhists Kangri Rimpoche is the spiritual name for the holy mountain Kaliash and means White mountain. The same represents for Hindus the abode of the supreme deity Shiva-Parvati. In India they say that after snowfall it's not good to disturb the gods on the mountain and climb. Skiing on snow in mountains, according to their spiritual rules they shouldn't at all, nor swim in seas which are the domain of the ocean deity Varuna. Now I'm going to make eggplant sauce so there will be something to eat.

Lino, in winter we don't even venture out with the bike. If there's dry smooth snow on the roads, it's poetry .

Yes, the webcam on the square in Bovec is not working again. Actually in Bovec none of the four cameras work. No sense. If not needed, just remove them...

Apparently the camera on Soriska Planina (at Litostrojska Hut) and the camera in Kališa filming towards Ratitovec (listed as Ratitovec) are just for decoration.

But right in Bovec they are very useful. Usually weather improves (or worsens) just from the west. And those are in the west. Let them raise them a few millimeters and they won't film the square. Of course they need to activate them first, for which there's no will in Bovec. Don't "tumbat" about their ownership.

There's no harm if camera films the square. But I wonder why those at the airport don't work? And the one on the square "live" is among other things also very useful. At station "D" of Kanin cableway there's also "live" camera, its footage is shown by TV Bovec. Why wouldn't we see these on the website too? You're right miri. Weather most often "happens" just in the west and these cameras would help many times and many people in deciding to visit these places. But no will or apparent need for system maintenance. Important is that they are "hung up", whether they work or...

The picture is from yesterday at 2 PM, so it doesn't refresh every half hour, but at best once a day.
