Which flower is this?

Apolonija17. 08. 2016 15:09:10
kati, welcome among us enthusiasts. Plants really take us over sometimes and eulogies just come from the keyboardnasmeh

And thanks for the nice flowery greeting. Corrections? You know many plants, but I do have some remarks.

1- shiny rockjasmine (and other rockjasmines too) should have at least outer
flowers different, larger. Did they fall off? The plant looks more like alpine catchfly.

2- If the outer bract leaves were more visible, it would be easier to determine if it's spiked or Sieber's speedwell.

5- Kerner's poppy - Were you in K-SA or Karawanks?

7- Since the outer corolla leaves are longer than the tube, it's Bavarian bellflower.

16- This plant belongs to the sedge family and is called cottongrass (Eriophorum). Hard to say which species.

17- Jacquin's hawkweed

Drop by again....

@kati1909, keep it up... the more of us the more interesting, since one can't see all mountains in a year and thus also the flowers that bloom at a certain time in a certain place.

Continuing with Tosca...nasmeh

Hello, today I had already written a message twice, but the power went out for quite a while and so I ended up in the evening. Greeting to our kati1909, Apolonija, you've already written everything needed, Otiv, you've uploaded new flowers with Tosca in the meantime, as I understand.
Since the weather was quite unstable today, my husband and I did a loop around Gradiško Lake and some flowers gathered again... lpvelik nasmeh

Zlatica, you've prepared completely different plants for us today and it's good to get to know these too.
Meadow barleygrass I only recognized myself a few years ago.
Glandular touch-me-not is pretty to look at, but terribly invasive. The name already says: "If you touch me, I shoot a seed, so leave me alone."

Zlatica, your unknown is also alien and spreads diligently with plenty of seeds from gardens around. It's called wild balsam apple (Echinocystis lobata). Not edible. The fruit is like a small spiny chayote.nasmeh

Apolonija, I'm glad you helped me a lot again. At first I even thought if I should photograph the touch-me-not, because I know it's so terribly invasive and I'm a bit angry at it eek, but I did anyway. And oil gourd? First time seeing and hearing. The barleygrass is really interesting, there was a whole meadow of it. lpnasmeh

Otiv, Apolonija, thanks to both for the research task.velik nasmeh . I spent all day wandering in my home region in the game areas, come home, and my beloved puzzles await me! I got right to it and checked 2 and 3 - creeping sadrenka still in the phase before it turns pink. Then 5, 6, 7, I think it's sinjezeleni kamnokreč, very similar to nasršeni kamnokreč, but with more pronounced leaf rosettes and leaves curled downward at the ends, flowers on longer peduncles. Well, if I'm wrong, Apolonija behind me will correct me. Then the yellow unknown, pic 4. Ugh!eek I found something almost identical this year at Kamniško sedlo, and I asked you, but not photographed from all sides so hard to determine. Otiv, I delved deeper into yours, I'd say it's a radičevka (leaves) specifically I chose gorski otavčič or jajčar (Leontodon montanus). And then pic no. 1. These whites are alike as egg to egg, from črvinka, peščenka, popkores... I'd say it's resasta peščenka, flower on leafy stem, visible well somewhere, and if we compare to this, http://luirig.altervista.org/flora/taxa/index1.php?scientific-name=arenaria+ciliata, then it's the right one. At least to me. And last no. 8. yes, know it by leaves, think I saw it this year under Snežnik in forest, can't recall name, but Apolonija said it's medicinal and good for men's issues zmedenvelik nasmeh. So, now passing baton to you for corrections. regardsnasmehnasmeh Adding later: talking about drobnocvetni vrbovec. Is that it, Apolonija?

Now comes the praise: ( I like this term kati1909. Not sure exactly if she meant we praise the flowers too much or ourselves or bothvelik nasmeh) Zlatica, I really like your good reasoning. You can see you've delved deep.
