Which flower is this?

I hope some expert or expertess will say which flower it is. Taken on Dugi Otok near Božava. The flower is very similar to narcissus, flower stem is 15-20 cm high, grows straight from the ground and has no leaves

Jarsan, hello. On a small computer I barely distinguish the plants. Flowering time, flower shape, height speak for white zephyranthes (Zephyranthes candida). The problem is, it's not native here. Possible that bulbs were brought which have multiplied??? Did you see them in many places? When I'm home, I'll "play" with this if it's still relevant.

Apolonija, all these little flowers grow in one group over a length of about 50 m. Although we walked a considerable part of the island, we didn't see them anywhere else. The flower of white zephyranthes differs from the mentioned flowers only by stamens, which are more pronounced on it, but this can be a consequence of conditions at the site (rocky terrain, heat, drought).
Best regards!

Yesterday was a nice day on Kršičevec. Luck smiled on me and finally I found slender awn on dry karst pastures. So some more pics of this beautiful flower.., and some others besides. lpnasmeh

Branko, I concede that I might have been wrong about the pink and it could be wild pink too. Maybe some good expert will definitively identify it. lp

Zlatica, you didn't photograph all the characteristic differences between one and the other pink (stem, calyx scales, upper leaves..). From the growth site location, from the uneven flower teeth one could conclude that it could be Triestine.

Jarsen, regarding the stamens I completely agree. As I already said, I'll check at home which plant comes into consideration. But I'd be happy if someone knows more.

Apolonija, thanks for thinking about it, I can only say it's good I managed to photograph anything in the wind at all, since the stem was extremely tall and swaying all the time eekvelik nasmeh

JARSEN, oh!

At home I looked at your photos in normal size and saw that they really are true narcissi that grow in the Mediterranean and flower in autumn. This is Narcissus serotinus.nasmeh

Our rather dry autumn still hasn't dried all the flowers in the hills. This is from the hike to Storžič via Psica.
There is quite a lot of bodežih než.1
The silky svišč has mostly finished blooming.2
This yellow one looks like I'll never figure it out.3

I'm always in a dilemma whether it's Carniolan or Bavarian edelweiss.7
The last flower of Zois bellflower on the whole path was hiding in a rock crevice.8
I never know if it's oval or large-flowered pipon.9
Considerably smaller and also almost below the summit of Storžič we find the alpine poppy or little sun.10
We can still find these bellflowers too.11
Lower down there is a lot of willow gentian.12

Apolonija, thanks. What's interesting about this narcissus is that the flowering stems grow directly from the ground and not from the leaves, like our narcissi.

jarsan, it seems autumn flowers behave differently than spring ones. Look, even autumn squill shoots flower in autumn, leaves only in spring. Spring squill shoots leaves and stem with flowers, autumn one also flowers without leaves....Maybe they prepare for frost like that?nasmeh

Lisica, nice picture. I hope it won't bloom too much.

I wasn't in the hills, but walked more in the lowlands in the area of the beak of "our hen". You surely know the plants.

velkavrh, again you were high up and found suitably beautiful flowers, especially the rock speedwell thrilled me.
There under Rombon nature has turned its compass again, as Lisica shows with the pic.eek
Apolonija, your colorful varieties of flowers aren't nothing either, hard to choose which is my favorite, the green one is really provocative....velik nasmeh
