And some "winter flowers" from yesterday's visit to Karst edge from Črni Kal to Podpeča.... nasmeh

On the path through Primorska to Veliko Gradišče and Kokoš we meet only Istrian dogtooth. Snow around my home has melted. Like on flower beds and also on nearby slope first spring flowers have bloomed. Well, snowdrops, dogtooth and trumpets much earlier.

On a sunny slope the fragrant violet is already blooming.

And a couple more flowers from our flower beds - beautiful Iris reticulata.

And another one from the garden daffodils.

on your picture no. 12 is wonderful spurge, but Wulfen's supposed to grow only in Trieste area (we find it from Kontovel to Devin), but maybe it has "come" to Karst edge too. nasmeh

Zvonček, since I already met Wulfen's spurge on Napoleon path along coast to Miramare castle, this seemed same. Attaching photos of this from Trieste area for comparison, blooming early March. Spurge from Karst edge might have "escaped" from Trieste coast, planted by house in Podpeča. lp velik nasmeh

Euphorbia wulfenii grows also in Slovenia in gardens. Gardeners sell it, but it needs winter protection.

Anka and Apolonija thanks; Otiv, I forgot to praise you before for the tooth, I was looking for it yesterday on Šenturška gora, but it hasn't shown up on the meadow yet, only one fresh leaf was sticking out in places where they usually are. You surely found it on Šmarna gora, right? lp

On Savinja mountain path I found these little flowers.

Variable-leaved bugle - belongs among stonecrops.
