Zvonček, it's not clover, but Jaquin's narcissus.

I can't find these little flowers. Photographed on the meadow near Mangart.

Yes, everything indicates it's the famous blue gentian that many want to see, including little me.

Zlatica THANKS, I wouldn't have found it! Almost all my life I've been hiking mountains, low, high and even higher, and I saw it for the first time.

It's really blue gentian, a few years ago I first encountered it on Mangart

Otiv, great! The identification for ušivec is correct. Unfortunately my pics can't compare with yours.

Branko, thanks. I didn't find everything I expected, but everything else was wonderful. In a good 14 days back to this altitude to admire the flowers.

Velkavrh, first time (at least I) hear about common privezanka (pic 7). I thought it was žarkasta košeničica. My pic is from the path to Možic recently.

Oh, Otiv, what alpine beauties you've brought into our homes! I just can't get over how all this is already blooming under Triglav. So, your wish came true, which you expressed a while ago that you'd like to go around there! Your choice of photos and colors is pure strawberry picking and of course the last blue is neboglasnična! I really envy you this pleasure, and even a bit friendly envy that you could wander so high and catch such beautiful cushions and flowers of our high mountains. And your little poem says everything you felt about it! With lepnica you probably meant the stemless one, right? Branko, you've walked a lot and seen a lot of beauty too... Zvonček, your yellow one is of course žarkasta košeničnica, I can confirm that because I was on Soriska just a few days before you, otherwise there is common prevezanka (with "e" not "i"), but the picture for me isn't close enough to judge which yellow it is, surely Brane looked at it well. For a better idea, I'm sending you my prevezanka from Velika Plešivica so you can imagine it better. It has really interesting pinched (tied) leaves. lp

Zvonček it's common prevezanka (that's correct)-Chamaespartium sagittale. Žarkasta košeničica is actually a shrub over half a meter tall and covers large areas in places.

Beautiful pics, all little flowers, of course otiv is a special kind of artist. Otiv, why no doubt on picture 6 that it's neboglasnica, but on 22? Your ušivec is klasasti ušivec, in Latin Pedicularis rostratospicata. See: rostrum=beak, flowers in spike shape. Brane, I trust your years-long knowledge of plants and learned a lot from you. That's why I like to ask you. - Your hairy sleč seems to me just rjasti sleč. Am I wrong? - I am sure it's avstrijski gadnjak -That little thing of yours is travnata zvezdica -Stellaria graminea

Apolonija, thanks. I'm in doubt because at the end of shooting I was sure it was spominčica, but among the bunch of shots now I'm not sure which one it is. If you look closely at the picture you see dry stem parts from last year and flowers are more clustered. I'd go check on Planika right away, but it's so far.

Yes, about sleč. All those sleč sites are sites of rjasti sleč. Really didn't pay attention to the leaves, which are the distinguishing feature for these two slečs. Rjasti sleč is rarer, so I'm glad I saw such extensive sites.

Otiv, do you think the herbaceous stems of forget-me-nots wouldn't perish over winter? Aren't they just dried root shoots by which the tuft spreads? And the beautiful dark green leaves densely covered with silky hairs? Do you think there are multiple flowers on one stem? What if you have forget-me-not on some other picture?

Otiv; my humble opinion on your dilemma with the "forget-me-not"; according to the explanation in "Zaplani", that it grows above 1000m and the other description, yours should be "alpine forget-me-not". Also that you photographed it below Planika would confirm it. Have a nice time and delight us with beautiful flowers!

Kati, picture 18 is alpine forget-me-not, but for the one on 22 otiv is in a dilemma what it is. I'm rooting for Douglasia
