Oh, Zvonček, I'm not a botanist either. Together we learn and enjoy this beautiful nature. Sometimes names cause us trouble because there are multiple synonyms. Experts can agree on the "main" leading name. So now it's, for example, radiate broom (Genista radiata), its "older names"=synonyms are Cytisanthus radiatus and Cytisus radiatus, meaning radiate Cytisus broom. In Small Flora of Slovenia, this plant is listed among Genista brooms not Cytisus brooms. Same with entire-leaved Cytisus broom. Now classified among Genista brooms as coastal broom. Silky is another species. Don't know if I wrote it clearly enough.

Apolonija, THANKS. You couldn't write it more understandably. Good lesson for me not to always name flowers on my pics and let enthusiasm carry me away causing a stir with wrong names. Thanks again for effort, took your time but you had to speak up for all on forum. If time and will, and if pics 5 and 6 are clear, please say which broom. Others might be glad too. Lp

On Friday Tadej and I go scouting along Bela potoka valley to Krniška škrbina (2180m) and on to Corsi hut and I believe lots of nice mountain flowers. This tour I'll lead as main guide in my club.

Zvonček, good morning. On pics 13, 14 you have two from this group, coastal broom (aka entire-leaved Cytisus broom) and silky broom. Coastal has palmate leaves split in three leaflets (only radiate broom also has divided). Compare broom on 5 and 6 with these on 13 and 14, which seems more similar? Coastal or silky?

I agree with you. If it motivates, maybe someone will already protest

Denis, briefly, since I'm at the sea using phone: the Epipactis isn't Epipactis, but common helleborine, 13 is alpine rockjasmine and the last little green one, probably round-leaved violet, but not sure as I can't see the leaves. Very nice flowers you found, you photographed them well, didn't miss the lady's slipper habitat either. Lp

Zlatica thanks. I mixed up a bit and wrote from memory. You can see I've rusted on mountain flowers and only orchids swirl in my head. Lp

Zvonček, it's not the early purple orchid, but the fragrant orchid. (Or even its relative the small white orchid,)

Zlatica, a bit for fun, since you're at the sea. You surely remember that for gentians besides leaves the distinguishing feature is also the pistil neck. In some they are long and protrude quite a bit from the flower, in others shorter, but that's not all. In some straight and in others curved And it seems to me, hard to judge from the photo that Denis's isn't curved. If that's true, not round-leaved gentian , rather the middle one.

Of course, Polona, I agree with everything you wrote. I know about the curves, but I never remember which curve is for which species. Here I have no other aids except memory, which is full of holes in this regard. Good thing you properly supplemented my guesses. And good luck!
