zlatica - interesting. I really don't know forest arnica. For exact identification of helleborine I would at least need a picture of the whole plant. But I think this helleborine is mountain helleborine, which is quite a common helleborine of ours.

Still a whole inflorescence of mountain silj up close.

Otiv, true, your picture is really macro, from which a lot can be seen. Branko, the woodland arnica was shown to me by Alenka M., so now I can recognize it. It has characteristic opposite leaves under the flower, nicely shiny and it even lets itself be photographed. Regarding the helleborine I know that I should have a picture of the whole plant, leaves and individual parts for determination. Unfortunately I didn't take enough photos and I'll definitely go photograph it again. I couldn't decide for mountain helleborine yet, it is really a beautiful helleborine but has different leaves. I really will have to go to the field again when it stops raining. mežikanje

Yes tall beautiful helleborines have very different leaves and we actually distinguish them by leaves. Now zlatica please tell whose leaves these are - small quiz.

This one is from the botanical path of Črne prsti - very instructive when there are signs next to it.

Branko, yes the quiz is small, the questions "big" though, since helleborines are quite ungrateful for identification, especially you have to see the whole plant and also the leaves. But if I guess a bit at random anyway, I'll say: 1. broad-leaved helleborine 2. carniolan helleborine 3. woodland lady's slipper 4. mountain helleborine 5. common spotted orchid eek

Flowers of Macna. I've never seen as many primroses on the entire ridge of Macna as I saw this time.

Only at the chapel of St. Anne below Macna did I see a couple of spring gentians.

The entire ridge of Macna is yellow from cowslips.

Let it be the sowbread. I'll check these sowbreads in Flora Alpina.

These primroses are from the ridge between Matkov kot and Logarska. They spoiled me today purely by chance. I wasn't expecting them.

Deniss, what a beautiful photo of the spreading bellflower. Maybe you know which orchid is on my picture. It grew along the path in dry grassland in light forest, and for the bellflower I'm not sure if it's tail-leaved, which could be given the habitat.

Zvonček your orchid is narrow-leaved naglavka. On the second picture it's skrečnik, which one I'm not sure since they are hard to distinguish by photo. Definitely not pyramidal. nasmeh

I present currently flowering flowers of Karnijci - for mid-montane areas - there up to 1800m altitude. Unfortunately, when you're in the queue with nice pictures, there's nothing, and currently I have no good camera. It's more about what is already blooming there.

Prealpine crepis - as you know we also have common, bitter, tufted and French. They differ by flowers.

German crosswort. It is similar to the painted one.

I saw the first Pyrenean houseleek this year.

At this time lots of alpine hawkweeds are blooming.

There is a lot of hybrid goldenrod. Interestingly, there are no other goldenrods.

Globeflower is also native here - there were many.

Alpine bartsia - really an extremely bad photo - lesser known mountain flower.

This is probably a lousewort - but I don't know which one.

Interesting - right at 1800m the wood anemone is blooming.

There will be many Turkish lilies, I also saw martagon lily leaves.

Starry košeničica is not yet blooming - but the slopes will be completely yellow from it.

The only bellflowers - peach-leaved ones.

At the starting point I notice dove bloody cranesbill in the grass.

Bird's milk orchid - don't know which - not the clustered one. Possibly Koch's or the lax-flowered.

Dark violet-black gentian. At least two other species were present. This one stands out most because it has such dark flowers and smaller blooms.

, maybe creeping, I posted the picture because one single plant grew from a wall crevice and I liked it very much. I hoped for confirmation of the bellflower.

Velkavrh, on the 21st picture it's peach-leaved bellflower.

Zvonček, sorry, I don't know which of your orchids these are. My humble opinion is that this is not narrow-leaved naglavka, because there's no orchid with such a name in Slovenia. It's long-leaved, but that one flowers white. I thought of red naglavka, but since flowers aren't fully open yet, it's not necessarily naglavka... Regards

Deniss, there was a small confusion. Otiv answered my question about the cowslip on the 1st picture from 3.6. and it's probably the long-leaved cowslip (by the way: I read online that the narrow-leaved cowslip also grows here).

You answered my question about the cowslip on picture 10 from 1.6. And you're right when you say it's not necessarily the red cowslip.
