Excellent! Just continue with these selections; next season I'll go hunting with them myself. I assume you don't have these selections separated (at least approximately) by seasons?

keber1, thanks! With researching mountain and lowland flora, emphasis of course on mountain flowers, I've been engaging amateurishly or as a hobby only for the second year. All five selections were photographed this year, only košutnik, triglavsko neboglasnico, kernerjev mošnjak and dvobarno murko I didn't find this year. You must be at the right time in the right place. This year I somehow photographed three hundred flowers. Only one quarter of them I somehow couldn't identify. Unidentified ones of course I didn't post, and not all shots succeed. Privately on the computer I have them sorted by types - say bellflowers together, saxifrages together and so on. Saxifrages I have fourteen species, for example. Equipped with place of discovery and date and Latin name. I can hardly wait for spring again. L.P.

velkavrh, thanks for these nice pics. When my job gets boring, I go to hribi.net and look at your pics of beautiful flowers. They immediately brighten my day and I have the will to work again.

Rak, thanks. It's not just photographing that's interesting. More interesting is then finding the names of the flowers we photographed. Suddenly you know almost all the flowers you see along mountain trails and you want to see even more. Next year I'm exploring the Krvavec area and wider surroundings of Zelenica in more detail, because from available sources I've found that I haven't found about one third of the mountain flowers. L.P.

Mountain flowers everyone gladly has,
their beauty reaches the heart.

Modesty is their trait,
colorfulness tempts even the painter.

They adorn our beloved mountains,
they honestly strive for their growth.

In winter we look at them,
to remember the beautiful days.

Today, the first report from the field. This time more of a walk to start the dry hiking season from the walk to St. Lovrenc above Bašlje.
Črni teloh can still be found on the path through the forest towards the summit of Sv. Lovrenca. This one is still white, but mainly already pink-tinted.1
There is plenty of resja right at the start of the path.2
All yellow is also common lapuh along the entire forest road.3
All blue is also common jetrnik.4
In the forest I find common volčin too.5
Along the path I spot a white violet.6
Under the churchlet just two little flowers - this green beauty we find - it is cypress mleček.7
Full of this low white flower - it is low repnjak. Grows under the church among the grass.8
This is how the habitat of this repnjak looks.9
I find the first žanjevec too - still in buds.10
