Which flower is this?

Šmarna gora and its neighbor Grmada are practically our "house" little hills... suitable for "quick" recreation and emergency exit when there isn't enough time or something else for farther and higher. Yesterday after many years we took the camera up there again. This is just a modest selection of everything fragrant and blooming...nasmeh
Mountain cinquefoil... there is plenty of it everywhere...1

Today to Bohinj hunting for endemic bohinjska perunika on Komarča. It was strenuous, but worth it. Last year I went two weeks earlier. It was in full bloom. Today it blooms only on well-sunlit inaccessible rocks.
It was too dark for a better shot - Bohinj iris - I find it only on the slopes of Komarče.1
This one I zoomed in with the new camera.2
Glavičasti repuš hid from me in the shade. It was the only one flowering on the entire Komarča.3
There is plenty of klinolistni kamnokreč.4
There is a lot of porovolistna škržolica.5
Košutnik flowers will need to be viewed in summer.6
On top of Komarča I encounter srčastolistne mračice in company with skalna kernenka.7
Beautiful cultivar of srčastolistna mračica.8
The wild bezek attracted me.9
Then across the forest to Komna. There is still plenty of snow in the forest. In between, navadni jetrnik.10
On Komna there is a lot of navadni alpski zvonček.11
The main flower of Komna right now is alpski kosmatinec - you see it wherever you look.12
Črni teloh doesn't show.13
Of the svišči, only this little beauty. Which one it is I'll check later. Whether spomladanski or tržaški, triglavski grows later. No big blue svišči or napihnjeni yet, which has more small flowers on the stem.14
Look how many there are on the tussock. Nizki svišč isn't there either. Tržaški has slightly larger flowers than spomladanski.15
At the Pod Bogatinom hut, there is rani mošnjak.16
Plahtica.17
There is also alpski repnjak here.18
On the way back along the hairpin bends, trpežna srebrenka greets us.19
I also find the alpine srobot.20
Already quite down below I stumble upon the round-leaved rock cress.21

Today picnic in Stiška vas - 850 m a.s.l. - like Sv. Jošt above Kranj, so there we already find mountain flowers. I take half an hour for the nearby meadow, pasture and always grateful slopes above the road.
Successful photo of the pigeon catchfly, of course the meadow one is also here.1
The pasture is all blue with gentians.2
On the slope above the road I find some scare orchids. They have almost wilted. Here they are much higher than they were at Sv. Jakob.3
Primrose.4
Common aconite buttercup5
A quite large stand of great marsh valerian surprises me.6
Hairy alumroot.7
At the edge of the forest I find Fuchs' fingered orchid - it had spotted leaves.8
Common lady's tresses - belongs to the spiranthes.9
Nearby I spot a pale helmet orchid.10
Kamnokrečna lepnica - grew on the slope above the road.11

Otiv, good evening! Under #13 you have panonski osat, under #14 alpski šetrajnik, under #15 rdeča relika, under #17 veliki jetičnik. #16 is a problem - it belongs to kobulnice whose flowers are similar in one way. For determination we need to see the stem and leaves and approximate height. L.P.

Otv, wonderful photos, wonderful flowers especially Blagajev volčin, which is not on the photo (9, 10), although native to Polhograjska gora. Blagajev volčin blooms in April and has much larger flowers than špajka (probably medicinal špajka or valerian) on the photo. Lp

Otiv, Anka is right about Blagajev volčin, it really is medicinal špajka or baldrian - a known medicinal plant, which is currently flowering even in the valleys. Around us it's full of it.

I was on Palec and along the Ljubelščica ridge, and my tour extended from planned 5 hours to almost 7 because of the flowers.

I gladly believe it. Last time when I went to comb the flora of Zelenica the tour extended for sure by one hour, because I searched all crevices, every shrublet, every rock, all screes, rummaged in the dwarf pines. When you find a little flower then photographing follows. And I take a few shots of one flower from different angles and distances, and sometimes none succeeds. On Sunday I'm going a bit to Croatian Istria and it might be very interesting. On Saturday to view the estate of Brda castle, which falls under Predoslje, if I'm not mistaken. Best regards.

Croatian Istria, I keep forgetting I was there a few days ago - around Limski kanal. It's beautifully in flower, especially at slightly more abandoned spots. Unfortunately the wind messed up some more detailed photos, and I'm still learning to use the new macro lens.
I expect it will be much better this weekend on the Vremščica-Slavnik route.

Today on the long-planned route to Storžič from Lovrenc through the middle on unmarked path. It was strenuous but wonderful. Simply too many flowers to show all. Already in forest right at start found green willowherb which I hadn't seen before. On way to Kališče path junction found fleshy-red pink, last seen on Kamniški vrh. Towards summit full of Clusius' gentian, Wulfen's masterwort, whiffs of fragrant valerian, still tall masterwort, alpine cinquefoil, headed campion. Storžič summit coloring yellow and white. Didn't find any blooming sandwort. They will bloom in two weeks.

Beautiful photos, sharp shots of flowers, equipment on test performs well, masterful. On the seventh photo is julijski lan, the sticky one is red-pink. The flower on the last photo I don't know, it's something special, very beautiful.

anka, thanks! For the lan I remembered right away. Sticky one I always find at Hudičev boršt. It wasn't there, for zvončice it's also too early yet. I was looking for bursarjev kamnokreč, which is supposed to flower first. Last year I found it by the path in rocks. This year too I carefully checked the rocks when going down from Storžič top towards Kališče, but didn't find it. Don't know if it's still too early. But true, last year I found only one growth spot. Those zlatice I never saw before. Flower is such like perzijske zlatice, which we can buy all winter for bouquet in flower shops, only it was smaller. A few years ago I already grew them in garden, but they are too demanding for cultivation. L.P.

Good morning! Wonderful day. Every day going on honest hikes is at least for me too strenuous. Tomorrow going on excursion to Croatian Istria - to see waterfalls which are formed by streams Mirna and Draga. That's near Buzet. Will be floristically interesting too. From yesterday's Storžič I'll show a couple more little flowers more or less successful pics.
Forest lungwort - found the first blooming one below Dom na Kališču.1
I don't know the name for this cinquefoil. It's not common strawberry. Same on Kališče.2
Headed lousewort - now first flowers, later more of them.3
Jacquin's speedwell - on the slope at Kališče.4
There will be plenty of common dog rose for tea. Its flowers are white.5
Healing gentian - at Gradišče.6
Common black hellebore - at Gradišče.7
Alpine sea milkwort - found on the scree of the sand quarry on the path from Gradišče.8
Along the gravel road carnation blooms - intoxicatingly fragrant.9
By the road I spot a nearly 1.5-meter tall huge green plant I recognize as deadly nightshade. It bears poisonous berries. Not very common.10
Fragrant foxglove - without morning dew at seven.11
Much higher up it was completely pale, as if damaged by recent frost.12
Sunflower or poppy turns towards the sun.13
Common foxglove is abundant.14
Primrose has visitors.15
Many flowers waiting for their moment - alpine wormwood.16
Last year I searched for various rockjasmins and learned to identify them. I still don't see the difference between evergreen and homulic ones.17
Will have to wait for open flowers.18
These tiny white flowers confuse me. Is it speedwell or not? Should be hairy speedwell.19
This should be moss phlox. Hard to photograph.20
Who wants to eat me? This is yellow vetchling.21
For the end, one more riddle. What is this cute white flower?22
