A little joke doesn't hurt,
wherever a person walks,
it's nice if fun accompanies him,
wherever our beautiful land is,
whoever likes to grumble,
doesn't know what he's missing,
in old age he wonders,
will my last mass have any visitors??velik nasmeh

Bravo, poet from the Savinja valley,
I see you also like rhymes,
keep going like that, look at the rainbow,
with its beauty you become a wizard,
you already have the wand or pencil,
and you write well too.nasmehmežikanje

For three weeks now, when the time comes, I've been sorting white low mountain flowers. Among them there are some that delight us in valley forests, at the start of mountain paths. The line between low ones is sometimes relative. Growth height is also conditioned by growth conditions. Somewhere in rocks the flower will be lower than on a more favorable spot on pasture. Even some white flower is sometimes slightly pink-tinted or has different veins in the flower. There are huge numbers of pure white low ones, so I skipped many. Stone cresses would also belong among the low ones, which I didn't include, and some other genus. I'll continue tomorrow or a bit this evening.
I'll start right away with the bear's garlic known to all of us, which delights us in spring with its leaves like spinach or salad.1
I continue with the wood anemone, which is abundant everywhere in valleys and higher forests in spring.2
We will more rarely find a similar snailflower, or we won't notice it at all among the wood anemones. This one was on the path to Tolsti vrh shortly after Gojzd.3
In valley forests and also higher in the forest we notice the inconspicuous flower - twinflower.4
Of course we can't pass by the common daisy - this one is already this year's.5
This white puff grew last year right in our yard.6
In the subalpine and alpine zones, it is replaced by the edelweiss-leaved edelweiss. It has a taller stem and larger flower.7
This edelweiss is from Kalški greben.8
Everyone really knows the little bellflower.9
The great spring bellflower or kronca locally. We find this one also a bit higher, not only in valleys. Both have their own habitat requirements, and both are protected - we must not pick them as a rule.10
In forests also in valleys and then in higher forests we encounter this flower, which belongs to the fritillaries - common dog's-tooth-violet.11
Somehow among the bear's garlic we see this white flower - it is the three-leaved bittercress. It likes moisture.12
There is a lot of this white blossom on the three-leaved bittercress. There are more species of bittercress.13
In this area we will encounter lily-of-the-valley. They smell nice, caution they are very poisonous - we must not mix their leaves with bear's garlic.14
We also find the two-leaved helmet orchid in valley forests and higher up. We also have the greenish one.15
Here is the long-leaved groundsel – we also find it in lowland forests and higher up.16

Continuing what I started this morning.
White cottongrass.1
This, however, is the snowy cottongrass.2
Already at the start of the Zelenica ski slope they grow one next to the other.3
This is how white cottongrass looks at the beginning of June. When it goes to seed, however, it is no longer short.4
In mid-April a white violet was found on Sv. Lovrenc above Bašelj.5
Alpine butterwort likes moisture. Where a little water trickles, it likes it best.6
The smallest alpine bellflower is almost white – these are from Zelenica.7
Black hellebore is encountered both in valleys and quite high up.8
The white crocus is likewise from Zelenica.9
The white catchfly could already be classed among tall white flowers.10
Jacquin's rock-jasmin, however, is not purely white.11
Creeping Jenny.12
White saxifrage.13
Spanish saxifrage.14
It can, however, be almost white.15
Norian gentianella – quite common.16
There are several species of hawkweed – this is a fairly common alpine hawkweed encountered both in subalpine and alpine zones.17
It forms an abundance of white flowers.18
Beautiful – this one is from Storžič.19
Bohinjski repnjak is also quite common.20
There is plenty of alpine kosmatinec.21
This one grew near Cojzova koča.22
There is also alpine krešica here.23
Hairy oklep.24
This hairy oklep is from Krvavec.25
Club-headed anemones are exceptionally beautiful.26
They are gorgeous.27
Truly beautiful white klopčič from Veliki Zvoh.28
Hill pearl.29
Scree goblet.30
There is quite some white drobižek on screes; Austrian črvinka leads.31
Creeping sadrenka is also here.32
In between we find little kobulnica - alpine jelenka.33
Alpine slanozor.34
This one is even from Montaž.35
Darkish rman.36
Marsh samoperke.37
They are quite common; they like moisture.38
Alpine velesa however likes the sun - it is common.39
Gerard's lousewort.40
Early marsh orchid.41
Early marsh orchid from Zelenica.42
Kerner's orchid we will find in the rocks around Triglav.43
Alpine wormwood.44
Rock monkshood.45
Clusius's cinquefoil - fairly common - loves rocks.46
Silver avens - Črna prst.47
Immediately below the hut on Črna prst is an extensive stand.48
Julian poppy from Montaž.49
Traunfellner's golden saxifrage - beautiful.50

Today our speedwells, which I've had prepared for a few weeks. In between some slightly more violet ones will mix in.
Soon there will also be plenty of common dog's mercury in the valley forests.1
Already now we find violets, there are plenty of them. There are several species.2
I can distinguish well only the fragrant violet - it smells pleasantly and has the strongest color.3
These are from Kamniški vrh.4
From about 600 meters above sea level we already find on pastures and in light places along forest paths the many-flowered hawkweed. Among hawkweeds it is the highest and brightest.5
This one is from the foot of Kamniški vrh. We also have common aquilegia - Aquilegia vulgaris, which often grows among velecvete - Zelenica.6
This one is from the Jezerce pasture below Krvavec. In the western Alps there is also the alpine one, which we don't have here.7
Higher on Krvavec grows more intensely colored and lower growing Bertolon's aquilegia. Similar in growth is the blackish-violet one - very darkly colored.8
Somehow in the forest and also towards mid-mountain and higher we find beautiful forest hepatica.9
Only meadow hepatica have an even more blue color - light blue - others don't.10
During Easter time, common lungwort blooms in our valley meadows - also a medicinal plant.11
Higher up we rarely find long-leaved lungwort. This one is from Lipance.12
Towards autumn, the valley is full of common dandelion or chicory.13
On our meadows there are fewer and fewer spreading bellflowers, which we also find higher up.14
It has delicate light blue flowers.15
We are moving more to the violet side - nettle bellflower - common in valleys and also higher up.16
Bologna bellflower.17
Peach-leaved bellflower.18
Also in valleys and higher we find clustered bellflower.19
Now we go with bellflowers to mid-mountain and high mountain - this is woolly or Carniolan.20
There are plenty along our mountain paths of dwarf pine bellflowers.21
It is below at the Zelenica ski slope and there is plenty of Scheuchzer's bellflower. It is very common.22
Bladder bellflower we can hardly confuse.23
The queen of our bellflowers is Zois' bellflower.24
For it, one already needs to go a bit higher - loves rocky crevices.25
We will soon find the spring torilnica. I only know of a location at Ljubelj.26
Among the low ones is the pyramidal gentian.27
Beautiful are the stands of bitter or common hawkweeds. We have to taste them and identify them by their bitterness.28
Common blackhead - also around our homes.29
We also find grass-leaved orchids in the lowlands - protected.30
Beautiful is the endemic Bohinj orchid - this one is from Komarče.31
Sometimes we find many-faced wolf's pea - only this color is in nature - from below Pristovski Storžič.32
Globeflowers like moist habitats - this is narrow-leaved from the Valley of Triglav Lakes.33
Broad-leaved globeflower.34
Variegated globeflower from Planina Dedno polje.35
In KSA, however, the tailed one is common.36
The flower of this little flower is interesting - this one is from Kras. Meadow dark bulb plant - already flowered - endemic.37
Mid-mountain and then high mountain offer us a real paradise of blue - mountain forget-me-not.38
Julian flax.39
There are several gentians - this one is long-stemmed.40
These are heart-leaved - they are the lightest and lowest.41
In between, even an albino appears.42
This is the common gentian - it has leaves on the stem.43
Mountain bellflower.44
Common alpine bellflower - This one is from Zelenice.45
Headed cow-wheat.46
It is very beautiful.47
Alpine calamint or čober.48
Highest in the rocks we find Triglav neboglsnica - it takes effort to reach it. This one is from Vernar.49
Among the blues I would also include mountain globeflower.50
Somehow the gentians are left for me. Of large blues we have three: Clusius', Koch's and Froelich's. This is Clusius', hard to distinguish from Koch's.51
This one is Koch's.52
Froelich's blooms late summer, the other two early spring. Clusius' found all summer at varying heights.53
Cross-leaved gentian is different, found on mountain pastures in foothills - This from Kriška planina under Krvavec.54
Already in valley towards autumn beautiful silky gentian or candlestick.55
More lower gentians - already at 800m spring gentian - e.g. pastures of Stiške vasi.56
Trieste gentian - this from Kuceljna.57
Inflated gentian.58
Among gentians only the bearded is beautiful blue - blooms all autumn.59
Nice bunch of the spring one. Later I'll add Triglav one.60
Here I'd also count Pyrenean dragonwort. Not very common. Saw many last year from Vogel to Spodnja Komna.61
Mountaineer's speedwell.62
Meadow sage.63
Common centaury - we see it also by roads.64
Robust edelweiss.65
Large-flowered blackhead, sometimes it also turns pink.66
This one is pink.67
These are Triglav marmots.68
Here the difference between the spring and Triglav ones is clearly visible. The Triglav one has leaves pressed into a rosette at the bottom.69
Beautiful is the long-flowered bellflower, which is slightly bluish.70
Among the blue small ones certainly belong the gentians - this is Barrelier's, which is not the most common.71
Nettle-leaved gentian.72
Leafless gentian.73
Thyme gentian.74
Persian gentian.75
Velen's gentian. I also found the rock one there on the Ovčarija pasture. We also have the alpine one, but I don't know it.76
Common field mirror - extremely rare weed in cereal fields.77
Wood blackener.78
Common gladež.79
Common čober.80
Common haljica.81
Alpine madronščica.82
I also found a beautiful Sieber's hawkweed.83
It grows in rock crevices.84

Brane, thanks! It's really nice to see flowers by colors. Stemless gentian I encounter more rarely. How do you distinguish Clusius' gentian from Koch's?
That karst unknown is, I think, already almost wilted meadow squill, endemic there-Scilla litardierei. Lp
