Of your finds I haven't encountered in nature yet: 1, 13; for 5 and 6 I don't know. I too first saw the creeping sretna and blue milje on Mangart.

"In Slovenia only two species of houseleek grow: common (Sempervivum tectorum), which grows mostly in western Slovenia, and Juvan's houseleek (S. juvanii), native to Donačka gora and Resenik in eastern Slovenia. (prof Bavcon)" From this I conclude that mountain houseleek (S. montanum) is a subspecies of the common one. Juvan's blooms yellow and it is our endemic.

I've learned something new again, thanksnasmehnasmeh
There is a lot of houseleek around the Savinja,
if you plant it in the valley, it grows due to
conditions up to 5x larger than in poor
sites in the hills! Greetings to all!

Apolonija, you're right - it'll be the common houseleek, which the mountain one very much resembles in flower, rosette and stem, only that the stem is more reddish and the flower somehow more vivid. But it's a border houseleek with neighboring Austria - not confirmed in Slovenia. So far I've found it only shortly after leaving the village of Soča, when I went from there to Bavski Grintavec over rocky terrain before the abandoned hamlet at the top, where the terrain flattens and we come out of the forest.

Brane, maybe you discovered the mountain one. Best regards.

In valley forests it's already full of common hepatica, crocuses, tevja, black hellebore, snowdrops, already first violets, lungwort - locally Easter flowers, coltsfoot and both kinds of snowbells. Today I found a little bush of blooming dogwood, which apart from hazel and catkins is the very first blooming woody plant in our forests. In the garden first weeds are already blooming - besides Persian speedwell also field fumitory.
This is how dogwood awakens.1
This is field campion.2

So that we can more easily await the first mountain flowers this year, the continuation of my top ten, actually there could be a hundred of them.
Tiglavska neboglasnica last year from Vernerja. The whole Verner was wrapped in this blue.1
Alpine gentian last year from Špika nad Nosom.2
Common ropontika last year from Spodnja Komna - rare protected high mountain flower - it really has a mighty flower. Only thistles compare in flower size.3
Pyrenean dragonwort last year from Vogel.4
Triglav flower last year from Šija - peak on the path to Vogel summit.5
Cross-leaved rockcress last year from Temena - peak next to Kanjavec.6
Common rattle last year from the path to Bavški Grintavec.7
Why not just the ordinary cowslip from the nearby meadow - not fertilized at all - last year's photo.8
Beautiful lady's slipper from paradise above Jezersko - protected and very rare.9
Abrotanifolia gentian from the path last year to Kukova špica.10
For dessert, the beautiful Apollo butterfly from the path to Bavški grintavec - our mountain Apollo, which is extremely rare and rarely seen.11

Nice, otiv, I haven't seen žanjevca this year yet, but I have seen reso. I'll have to go a bit towards Primorska, many things are already blooming there.

Thanks Brane!
We call žanjevca bunnies at home. I inherited that from my mom, who also liked flowers. Home names are always closer to my heart, I just don't know all of them, but that's not so important. I'm mainly happy to make the most pleasant shot for the eyes, which today is no longer so difficult with all the technology we have. Sometimes I fail too.velik nasmeh

Again nice shots from two masters! Apolon is wonderful. I too haven't seen žanjevca blooming this year. We called it red and yellow little roosters. lp

A little more continuation of the top ten.
Zois' violets from Stol last year.1
Bertolini's hawkweed - one of the hawkweeds that grow in our hills - this one from Zelenice.2
Silver avens from Črna prst last year.3
Already wilted creeping potentilla from Mangart last year.4
Saxifrages always excite me - musk one is also beautiful.5
Beautiful is the whiteness of the cobweb anemones - Krvavec.6
The whole continental season delights us with the sun flower or alpine poppy - this is not the mountain one, the mountain one is smaller and grows higher, this one from Krvavec.7
Of course without Kamnik primroses in KSA it doesn't go. Here in the high mountains we will find them everywhere, if we go to Krvavec, Kalški greben, Kalška gora, Kamniško sedlo...8
Golden hat or Carniolan lily - it will delight us in many places - this one from Stari Ljubelj.9
This cobwort will also greet us everywhere - great yellow cobwort - this one from Kamniški vrh.10

Nature is awakening. Today I went around Brdo estate. Devastation in the forest is really big and they're cleaning lots already, but on the estate behind the fence nothing happens. At Belca inflow giant snowdrops are in full bloom, common marsh marigolds not yet. Found white toothwort though.
Bellflowers are protected and we should not pick them actually.1
White cat's-ear.2
Some low cobwort starts to bloom. With cobworts I am still cold.3

As I said, there could be a hundred favorites, I could add two hundred more. The view over blooming mountain meadows is very dear to me, though I don't flee from valley ones either. What's nicer now than a quick walk to the nearby woods to snowdrops and to the nearby slope to crocuses and trout lilies. I read how many snowdrops we can pick - as many as fit between index finger and thumb circled - about twenty to thirty flowers - allowed.
Alpine pasque flower - first time I found it last year on Lisec.1
Kerner's poppy sometimes colors so nicely orange, otherwise it is yellow. In the Julians we will find Petkovšek's. We distinguish by leaves.2
The only white poppy is the Julian one - this one last year from Mangart.3
Beautiful is the great masterwort, which we will find more rarely. This one from Viševnik. More often we see common masterwort and lousewort.4
We can't pass by the bohinjska perunika either—we admire it if we go to the Dolina Triglavskih jezer via Komarče.5
The pirenejski kamnokras is beautiful—this one is from Storžič.6
The brezstebelna lepnica would beautify every summer hike, be it to sredogorje or visokogorje.7
The alpski kosmatinec competes with the similar kobulasta veternica as to which flower is prettier. They are often neighbors.8
Early in spring we spot low blue flowers in many places. Perhaps we don't even know they are zvončki—navadni alpski zvončki. These are from Zelenica.9
Here we will also find the white žafran or nunko.10
From the snow the evergreen gladnica will soon peek out. This one is from Tolstega vrha.11
Alpski ranjak—also for tea.12

Flowers mainly set seed in summer and early fall, early ones of course even earlier. Haven't noticed this plundering yet. Sadly seen several times in summer root diggers digging košutnik or yellow gentian roots. Košutnik is protected. As I know, can't cultivate like some blue gentians. All košutnik or gentian offered in huts as medicinal bitters made illegally - don't know exactly about ban for bitters. Drunk many drinks in huts from spruce tip mead to blueberry. Pick flowers for teas too - I only mother thyme, lady's mantle, tormentil, nothing else. Seen picking all sorts - even tall jeglič for home jägermeister.

Miri, really worth thinking about and, of course, acting. I think Slovenian hikers aren't such a problem. More so certain interventions in nature, climate changes, fertilizing even some high-altitude meadows with artificial fertilizers...
Some Slovenian gardeners want a permit for growing our alpines with reason=excuse to propagate and preserve. Behind probably "market niche". Few who sell alpines here buy abroad. How foreign gardeners do it, don't know. Maybe collecting seeds, plants... here.
Brane, yellow gentian really hard to grow. Talked to agronomist from Hmezad/Žalec where they grow it and explained all. Lots of herbs there, can check. "Homemade" pelinkovec wouldn't drink for several reasons: no alcohol, no root plundering, poisoned themselves confusing yellow svišč with hellebore...

That's why they should feel our presence through beautiful photos. Too often I also see someone pick a little flower and then thrown away already trampled on the mountain path.
There are quite a few white low mountain flowers. On many paths we will admire these tufts of white whiteness - alpine chickweed.1
The highest growing rock scree is host's. It occurs in two subspecies. This one has a beautiful pattern in the flowers.2
We also have a whole bunch of alliums. From ramson to Kamnik or scarlet onion, which is here in the picture.3
Beautiful is the capitulum cat's-tail.4
Alpine butterbur loves water. It doesn't let itself be photographed easily.5
Surely we know the bearded pink or clove, which we call Turkish carnation at home. We see it in the valleys too.6
In spring, the sea of gold delights us - golden saxifrage - it also loves moisture.7
In spring, cute bushes of common pasque flower greet us.8
Hairy shield.9
Beautifully red alpine poppy or Austrian poppy is quite common in the high mountains. This one is from Črna prst, where mountain flowers compete which one we will pay more attention to.10

I'm constantly on the go. Since I'm still employed and working two shifts, morning time is reserved for a walk with our golden retriever bitch Lona. We walk two hours as well. Today we went looking for dog's tooth and found it by the Kokra river in company with small snowflakes, common lungwort, common hepatica, common anemones and still black hellebore. At the forest edge fragrant violet and globeflower are blooming merrily.
Common lungwort - excellent also for tea. Good for expectoration in colds.1
At home we also call it Easter flower.2
This is the first blooming dog's tooth. Mostly it is still in buds.3
It is beautiful.4
I photographed it from all angles. Around my home I know of three locations.5
On the rock garden this botanical little crocus is blooming right now. I don't know where it blooms in the wild. It is Crocus olivieri.6
On my rock garden the spring pulsatilla has begun its modest flowering.7
In nature I find it on Zelenica.8
For the home living fence the common hare's-foot clover begins to bloom.9
On the meadow by the forest I noticed this low, most likely penuša. There are several species of penuša. I best know penuša nedotika, meadow penuša, hairy, forest and three-leaved.10
