Yesterday at 7pm I was scheduled for bouldering in Kamnik. Since I was already driving there, after two months of jamming and hanging on ice axes the mountains tempted me. Had to check if any summer fitness was left, or start training for winter.
Still some fitness in reserve, the plan worked out and by dark I was at the end of the ridge. Started descending but changed my mind and headed to Planjava. Soon realized it was not close at all, half an hour late to the meeting.
Almost to the end of Zeleniške without crampons, once I put them on they accompanied me to Kamniško sedlo. Little snow, but hard.

We also went to that end today, but only to Stanicev vrh. It was super, but it got hot

I have to say I envy you the climbing on Zeleniške špice. I myself only watched from Srebrno sedlo. I wish you many more enjoyments and safe steps in the mountains. Jože

funnyboy, the text is just right, also on difficulty you wrote it as it should be. Varied ridge, we had great weather, just a bit warm.

@ljubitelj gora: thanks a lot. It really is very varied and beautiful. Monday was also quite a warm day, but a couple of clouds provided some shade. In real heat better pick another target.

If anyone descends using a rope, take a sling too to make an anchor. That anchor near the ruins was burned last time. 30m rope is too short for abseiling; it must be 60m, except for climbing into the notch.

I've long watched them from the living room; today finally on them. Very varied ridge, quite airy in places. More serious starts with descent from Staničev vrh, offering large solid holds so we progressed fast over many cornices up and down. Heavenly chimney is real class of its own, only flaw too short. Here and there we bypassed till huffing to highest peak of Zeleniške Peaks. Then descent via Repov kot to valley exactly at noon at car so heat didn't wear us much.
