Barentaler Kotschna/Struška

Description of mountain:
Struška is a smaller mountain range in the Karavanke ridge, located between Stol (specifically Belščica) and Golica. From Veliki vrh (1944 m), the highest peak of the range, there opens a beautiful view of the Julian Alps, part of the western and central Karavanke, and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. In good weather the view reaches as far as Austria's highest peak, Veliki Klek in the High Tauern. The Struška ridge runs along the state border between Slovenia and Austria, and its southern slopes are likewise adorned with extensive meadows of blooming daffodils in the spring months.
