Jelenkamen

Description of mountain:
Jelenkamen is a peak in the northern Karawanks above Jesenice, interesting mainly for local hiking enthusiasts, some of whom choose it as their goal 100 times or more in a single year. About 10 meters below the summit is a pleasant viewpoint offering views toward Jesenice and the Ljubljana Basin, and across the Mežakla Plateau to Triglav. From there to the top, the path is secured with steel cables, making the trip even more interesting.
From Jelenkamen, the path usually continues to the daffodil meadows near Dom na Pristavi in Javorniški rovt.
