Description of mountain:
Strana peak (Kres on some maps) is a 711-meter-high hill located between the settlements of Koroška Bela and Slovenski Javornik near Jesenice, serving as one of the destinations for recreational hikers from the nearby area, mainly Koroška Bela. From the summit and along the path, especially during the fall leaf drop, one can enjoy some interesting views towards Javorniški Rovt, Koroška Bela, and the neighboring hills Alničje and Jelenkamen. The peak has no logbook.
