Kres nad Kočno

Description of mountain:
Kres nad Kočno is a beautiful viewpoint on the far northeastern spur of the Mežakla plateau, right next to the famous Poljanska Baba. From the top, below which stands a wooden cross, a magnificent panoramic view unfolds from Gubno in the Karawanks on the far left, across Golica and Stol and part of the Kamnik Alps, to the wide Ljubljana Basin in the center. To the right, Ratitovec with Jelovica and Pokljuka's Galetovec come into view. On the same side, the gaze is sure to linger on the slightly lower Poljanska Baba.
