Stol (1673 m) is located in the longest ridge of the Julian Alps. The ridge measures 25 km, or 35 km if including the western part. From the summit, where some transmitters stand, there is a beautiful panoramic view of the Kanin massif, the central Julian Alps, the Krn group, Matajur, the Adriatic Sea, Breginjski kot and the aforementioned ridge extending to Breški Jalovec. The summit has a stamp and summit register.
