Breitgrieskarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2376 meters in the Karwendel Mountains. The saddle is located 0.5 km east of peak Breitgrieskarspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Karwendelhaus, located 4km northeast. Closer is bivouac Breitgriesskarscharten-Biwak, which is located 0.1km to the east-northeast. Northeast of the saddle is the valley Karwendeltal. The saddle is located on the ridge Hinterautal-Vomper-Kette.
