The nearest mountain hut is Falkaunsalm, located 1.9km west-southwest. And Gsallalm is also close by. 0.5 km northeast of the saddle there is lake Krummer See. 4 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Gallruttferner, 5 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Gsallferner.
