Saxuirer Feuerkogel is 2806 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 2 km southeast of peak Schalwand. The nearest mountain hut is Gallrutt Alm, located 3km southwest. A little further is Gsallalm. 4 km south from the summit there is glacier Gsallferner, 4 km south from the summit there is also glacier Gallruttferner. The peak is located in the valley Oberinntal. The peak is located below the ridge Kaunergrat.
