Description:
Filzmoossattel is a saddle at an altitude of 2064 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km northeast from the center of Hüttschlag and 7 km east-southeast from the center of Großarl. The nearest mountain hut is Draugsteinalm-Steinmannhütte, located 1.0km south-southeast. Brandeggalm is also relatively close. 3 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Tappenkarsee. The saddle is located north of the valley Kleinelendtal.
