Description:
Gamsköpfl is 2154 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km northeast from the center of Hüttschlag and 8 km east-southeast from the center of Großarl. The nearest mountain hut is Filzmoosalm, located 1.3km west-northwest. A little further is Achtalm. 3 km southeast of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. South of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
