Draugstein is 2358 meter high peak with a registration box and a cross located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km west-northwest of peak Wildkarkopf and jugozahodno above the mountain pasture Zederbergalm. The nearest mountain hut is Draugsteinalm-Schrambachhütte, located 1.2km south-southwest. Brandeggalm is also relatively close. 3 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. South of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
