The nearest mountain hut is Wiesle Alm, located 4km west-southwest. Closer is bivouac Vorraum Tourismusbüro (täglich geöffnet), which is located 3km to the west-northwest. 2 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Grasstallferner, 3 km southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Grieskogelferner. The saddle is located above the valley Larstigtal.
