Description:
Grasstaller Grieskogel is 3168 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Niederthai and 5 km north from the center of Gries. The nearest mountain hut is Unterlehnerhof, located 4km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Vorraum Tourismusbüro (täglich geöffnet). 0.7 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Grasstallferner, 1.4 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Grieskogelferner.
