Description:
Obere Klafferscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2515 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located in country Austria 11 km north from the center of Lessach and 12 km north-northeast of Hintergöriach. The nearest mountain hut is Gollinghütte, located 1.9km west. A little further is Hieselbauerhütte (verf.). West-northwest of the saddle is the valley Obertal. The saddle is located above the ridge Klafferschneide.
