Description:
Untere Klafferscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2280 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 12 km north of Lessach and 12 km south of Haus im Ennstal and 1.4 km north-northeast of peak Greifenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Preintalerhütte, located 1.9km northeast. Kotalm is also relatively close. The monument Hans Wödl is also located near the saddle. The saddle is located east-southeast of the valley Obertal.
