Ochsentrieb is a saddle at an altitude of 2651 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km north of peak Sadnig. The nearest mountain hut is Dr. Widder-Jugendherberge, located 4km southeast. A bit closer is Patschghütte, which is located 1.5km to the east. 4 km north-northeast of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 6 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Schapperebenkees. The saddle is located above the valley Astental.
