Description:
Sandfeldkopf is 2920 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km south-southeast of peak Alteck. The nearest mountain hut is Duisburger Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is Patschghütte. 1.7 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees, 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Mölltaler Gletscher.
