The saddle is located 3 km northwest from the center of Innergschlöß and 4 km west-northwest from the center of Außergschlöß and 1.1 km east-southeast of peak Seekopf. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Fürther Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is Vorderofnerhütte. 1.8 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 4 km south from the saddle there is also glacier Karleskees. The saddle is located above the valley Gschlößtal.
