Description:
Seekarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2519 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located in country Austria 0.3 km south of peak Seekarkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Zittauer Hütte, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Gämsehütte. 4 km south-southwest of the saddle there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 1.6 km south from the saddle there is glacier Wildkarkees, 3 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Weißkarkees. The saddle is located above the valley Wildgerlostal.
